Academic Flexibility: Animal Behavioral Interest – Classes have been very flexable. No real hassels. Special Services have been outstanding in helping to properly set schedule. Find easy to ask for help in tuitoring. Professors helpful and understanding when needed time and explanation needed. Overall good.

Career Services: None That I Have Seen – upon entrance to the program, we were told about job placement & work study programs available. I expressed much interest, but to no avail, they never even offered it when the time came to be able to take it on. Seems to me now, it was just a ploy to get people into the school

Student Body: Some Diversity – This is the only adult education program at the school, the rest of the classes are high school students. There is 3 groups of adults , ranging from 20 to 40 in a class, at a time usually. The class that i'm currently in had 28 students at the beginning of the class, now we only have 18. The ethnicity of the students seems to be primarily white, some black, and age ranges from 19 to 45. Mainly over dominated by women, but a few men are in the classes too.

Academic Experience: there is a lab with computers and one with practice dummy's. there are dummy's that you can practice tracheostomy care & maternity care on, but WE have been unable to use ANY of them. They claim "they are not ready yet". the real answer is they dont want anyone to practice on $50000.00 dollar equipment. The instructor's in the full time class have demonstrated on them for the students, but those of us in the part time class havent had the opportunity to even see them. As for the computers, it is like pulling teeth to convince the "secretary & coordinator" to allow us to practice for the NCLEX-PN exam on them, since that is all we allowed to do on the computers.

Campus Resources: NO ONILNE HELP @ SCHOOL – the only time we use the computer is to take our practice NCLEX-PN

Campus Resources: MCCC is a decent school. It offers both adult classes & many classes for high school students. The nursing program that I am in provides the students with a lab with many procedure stations to practice with, teachers that are skilled with all the fields of nursing, & clinical sites that have employees willing to teach.
