Academics: The registration process is a nightmare, my department has great profs

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Most places can deliver to residences which is nice and convienient

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: They are accessible by cab and are not the biggest venues

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Students are given minors or majors depending on the infraction in residence by the CA's

4 College Sophomore

Weather: It affects the students decision to go to classes.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Some residences are too expensive. Some are really old and need to update the furniture.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: Sometimes the frequency of the buses are not convienient. They also are sometimes too early or too late.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: It was not extraordinary. I was lucky to know about it from my sister who had when through the process years ago. We have to submit forms at the office and sometimes just asking questions was difficult because there were very long line-ups.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: It's okay but a bit expensive

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: I haven't heard or seen of any drug issues on campus

5 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Alot of options on and off campus

3 College Sophomore

Computers: There are enough if you need them but not an excessive amount of computer labs

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Very helpful staff and student body

Facilities: Seems pretty nice, they have a lot of money so that can afford to upkeep on everything--I mean when you have a medical school right here in the middle of campus it's pretty tough to let it go to trash.

Diversity: There is absolutely every type of person on this campus--it is like the world in one spot. Just in my class alone I have over 7 different countries represented with 6 different languages. Amazing.

4 Recent Alumnus

Scholarships: I have received more aid here than any other school as far as scholarships go, I can actually afford to come here and pay for it as I go.

3 Recent Alumnus

Transportation: there is public transport. It is available and nearby many places.

Recent Alumnus

Nightlife: I do not see the night life at this location I have too much research that needs completing.

Recent Alumnus

Computers: I would never use them. I have a laptop. So I have access on my own.

4 Recent Alumnus

Guys & Girls: There is truly a remarkable mix here--nationalities, religions, personalities, and shapes and sizes. You will find everyone from a completely covered Muslim woman population walking around, to the scantily-clad Vegas showgirls, and everyone in between. The guys are just as diverse too--everyone from the tough-guy football star, to your lowly book-nerd. Somehow we manage to walk all around each other and not get into battles. Of course, the motivation for that may be if that were to happen it would truly be a riot. So it is peaceful here and diverse.

Campus Dining: They have some selection. You must pay by cash or student account though. They need to fix that. Quality is average--nothing incredible or terrible--just about where it needs to be to be pleasant.

5 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: Unbelievable variety--Greek, Asian, fast food, fine dining restaurants, quick stops, they have everything in one square mile from burgers, to Chinese, to sushi, to Wendy's, and more. All this just in my 1 mile walk to campus. Amazing.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academics: Top notch scholars. Top notch research on the latest issues. They encourage you to "keep up with it yourself" but at the same time actually take the time to help you through the process.

4 Recent Alumnus

Health & Safety: No real police presence that's noticeable, don't know if that's on purpose or not. The biggest issue is simply walking around campus--it is so crowded that you will bump into someone, and cars are allowed to waltz straight through while we are walking. I wouldn't have the driving roads go straight through campus with the level of people they have walking through.
