3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Everyone at MSU seems very friendly, but I still get that uneasy feeling when walking back alone from the wellness center at night.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: All meals are edible. I do think that they should mix up the options but overall I believe that they do well!

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I believe that campus is a safe place, and I have never felt unsafe. There is always someone around to ask for help if you are in need and people are very nice to just jump in and help if it looks like someone is in need. Overall I believe that Mayville may be one of the safest campuses I have been to!

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I believe that all dorms are very livable and nice. I would just suggest that Freshman live in Aggasiz in order to meet people and make friends and higher class should be in Berg in order to have a quieter atmosphere and be able to study but also to keep friendships close.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: There are a number of of apartments that are close by campus, as well as many houses that are rented out to college students. I would say that with the growing number of students it may be hard to find an apartment close to campus in the future though.

5 College Sophomore

Parking: Mayville has awesome parking and it's free. Something that most campuses don't have. We can park right across the stree from anywhere we need to be on campus!

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: For such a small town they have a pretty good amount of apartments and such for off-campus housing.

1 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: People are really nice, butits suh a small town and theresnothing to do in town at all, except fora 2 bars to go chill at on the weekends

3 College Senior

Academics: classis good fun open talk s work isnt really hard good amount of homework though but eaqsy classes at msu

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: I believe that transportation is fairly good at Mayville. There is usually another student that is willing to take a person to the airport, trainstation, etc. if there is no other way to get there. I just personally think that everyone at Mayville State is nice and is willing to help someone out no matter the distance.

5 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I have personally had a good experience with financial aid at MaSU. I have had no problems and have always been given the amount that works best for me!

5 College Freshman

Academics: The professors are really good about caring about every individual on and off campus. They will make sure that you are doing good or get the help that you need. THe workload is not terrible. It is the amount expected at the college level. There is alot of places to get help or places used for studying. The places are open all night and day long.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: It is a small school, therefore not much happens. During the week the nightlife is pretty dead; not many people are out and about. Weekends there is more action. On a good weekend, there is more then a couple parties, and the bars usually stay pretty busy.

1 College Freshman

Campus Dining: Same food over and over, its all you can eat but you see a lot of them food repeated week in and week out.

1 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Not many options, small community so no other choices but 2 restuarants

1 College Freshman

Nightlife: Not much to do but go to the bar and if you're under 21 your left with nothing to do.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: the diversity on campus is off the chart. there are people from all over the world and has been a great experience getting to know different cultures.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: i give our cafeteria a C+ because the food isnt that great. there are days when food can be really good but i normally dont look foward going to the cafeteria. the breakfast is always the same, boxed eggs, hash browns, and leftovers after leftovers. in the other hand mayvilles snack bar as all kinds of food from double cheeseburgers to wings, chicken fingers, cheese sticks, waffle fries, curly fries, grilled cheese sandwhiches, etc. there are some other places to eat likem la catina and a couple of pizza joints.

3 College Freshman

Computers: They are pretty neat. The screen folds down so you can use a pen to write on it. They do seem to get slow and if to many people are online, you get bumped off the wifi.

2 College Freshman

Weather: It's North Dakota weather, it's never been the greatest.

2 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Academic wise, Mayville is strick and conserned that their students do well, but about drinking and other things they are not that strict about.

1 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: it is a small small local atmosphere and a small small town to live in

3 College Junior

Athletics: is what is focused on at Mayville but overall comapired to other schools the facilities are poor

1 College Junior

Nightlife: there is little to no nightlight at mayville state

2 College Junior

Guys & Girls: alot of out of state students, a large amont of football players in the male gender and a larger female to male ratio
