5 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I have personally had a good experience with financial aid at MaSU. I have had no problems and have always been given the amount that works best for me!

5 College Freshman

Academics: The professors are really good about caring about every individual on and off campus. They will make sure that you are doing good or get the help that you need. THe workload is not terrible. It is the amount expected at the college level. There is alot of places to get help or places used for studying. The places are open all night and day long.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: It is a small school, therefore not much happens. During the week the nightlife is pretty dead; not many people are out and about. Weekends there is more action. On a good weekend, there is more then a couple parties, and the bars usually stay pretty busy.

1 College Freshman

Campus Dining: Same food over and over, its all you can eat but you see a lot of them food repeated week in and week out.

1 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Not many options, small community so no other choices but 2 restuarants

1 College Freshman

Nightlife: Not much to do but go to the bar and if you're under 21 your left with nothing to do.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: the diversity on campus is off the chart. there are people from all over the world and has been a great experience getting to know different cultures.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: i give our cafeteria a C+ because the food isnt that great. there are days when food can be really good but i normally dont look foward going to the cafeteria. the breakfast is always the same, boxed eggs, hash browns, and leftovers after leftovers. in the other hand mayvilles snack bar as all kinds of food from double cheeseburgers to wings, chicken fingers, cheese sticks, waffle fries, curly fries, grilled cheese sandwhiches, etc. there are some other places to eat likem la catina and a couple of pizza joints.

3 College Freshman

Computers: They are pretty neat. The screen folds down so you can use a pen to write on it. They do seem to get slow and if to many people are online, you get bumped off the wifi.

2 College Freshman

Weather: It's North Dakota weather, it's never been the greatest.

2 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Academic wise, Mayville is strick and conserned that their students do well, but about drinking and other things they are not that strict about.

1 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: it is a small small local atmosphere and a small small town to live in

3 College Junior

Athletics: is what is focused on at Mayville but overall comapired to other schools the facilities are poor

1 College Junior

Nightlife: there is little to no nightlight at mayville state

2 College Junior

Guys & Girls: alot of out of state students, a large amont of football players in the male gender and a larger female to male ratio

5 College Junior

Majors: They have a great variety of majors at Mayville. I personally liked this school because they had an Early Childhood Major which not a lot of other schools accept.

College Junior

Scholarships: I do not receive scholarships because I am distance and online learning.

5 College Junior

Athletics: I do not live on campus, but it seems like they have an above average football team. And also a lot of extracurricular activities as well.

5 College Junior

Academics: The distance and online program at Mayville is excellent.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I do not live in Mayvile. I am part of the distance program.

5 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: There are many activities that students can participate in; campus and community based.

5 College Senior

Facilities: There are many many extra activities that are put on for the students in order to get to know other students. There is a good variety so everyone can feel there is something for them.

3 College Senior

Campus Housing: Agassiz is the best dorm because it is recently renovated. Berg and Berkelo are older and have smaller rooms with community style bathrooms, which I do not like. I would like to see more suite style options.

5 College Senior

Weather: The dorms are very close to the classroom buildings so when it snows it is not a problem to get to class.

4 College Senior

Drug Safety: I have not noticed, nor have I been asked by others to participate in drugs/alcohol on campus.
