Transportation: Its a small town so I can get everywhere within walking distance.

Weather: I go to school in North Dakota so we have a lot of issues during the winter.

4 College Junior

Facilities: From what I've seen campus life is very active from intramural to study sessions to bingo.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I'm not even sure if there are any Greek life at the school I attend. If there is I wouldn't be apart of it and I wouldn't care.

3 College Junior

Computers: The computer is nice but I use my own personal laptop just because I'm used to it.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Small apartment but close to campus so I can walk and its very affordable.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Professors are awesome, they care for their students education and want the best for them. They push each individual to do their best and achieve all their foals. Free tutoring is offered which helps a lot and classes are easy to sign up for.

Drug Safety: Drug safety at Mayville State isn't too big of a deal. There is a bit of marijuana use but the majority of the time everyone around here prefers to drink. With people taking care of each other and cutting someone off when they know their buddy has had enough to drink, it helps everyone have a safer night.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The campus has a feel of great safety. Small town, close knit student base that people can be comfortable with pretty much anything. Leaving their cars running, leaving doors unlocked, etc.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Every professor makes sure that every student gets the lesson plan, they even offer free tutoring and extra help if needed. They actually care about our eduction.

4 College Freshman

Majors: Once the courses are completed, I will student teach.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The dorm i live in is great! The cost however is very spendy.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: There really isn't much to do at all in Mayville. Traveling an hour to Grand Forks or Fargo is the best way to go.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Everyone at MSU seems very friendly, but I still get that uneasy feeling when walking back alone from the wellness center at night.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: All meals are edible. I do think that they should mix up the options but overall I believe that they do well!

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I believe that campus is a safe place, and I have never felt unsafe. There is always someone around to ask for help if you are in need and people are very nice to just jump in and help if it looks like someone is in need. Overall I believe that Mayville may be one of the safest campuses I have been to!

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I believe that all dorms are very livable and nice. I would just suggest that Freshman live in Aggasiz in order to meet people and make friends and higher class should be in Berg in order to have a quieter atmosphere and be able to study but also to keep friendships close.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: There are a number of of apartments that are close by campus, as well as many houses that are rented out to college students. I would say that with the growing number of students it may be hard to find an apartment close to campus in the future though.

5 College Sophomore

Parking: Mayville has awesome parking and it's free. Something that most campuses don't have. We can park right across the stree from anywhere we need to be on campus!

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: For such a small town they have a pretty good amount of apartments and such for off-campus housing.

1 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: People are really nice, butits suh a small town and theresnothing to do in town at all, except fora 2 bars to go chill at on the weekends

3 College Senior

Academics: classis good fun open talk s work isnt really hard good amount of homework though but eaqsy classes at msu

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: I believe that transportation is fairly good at Mayville. There is usually another student that is willing to take a person to the airport, trainstation, etc. if there is no other way to get there. I just personally think that everyone at Mayville State is nice and is willing to help someone out no matter the distance.
