4 College Freshman

Weather: We had terrible snow and ice this year and the campus was very quick to plow and salt the campus to keep it safe for driving or walking on campus.

College Freshman

Weather: I don't care if it is pouring down rain, below zero temperatures, or hot as you know what. I find enjoyment no matter the weather. If it's raining ill splash in the puddles on my way to class. If it's snowing, I'll look up at the sky. The weather never prevents me from doing what I want. Unless it is snowing and I want to go swimming in a river or outdoor pool. It's just weather and it changes everyday. People get to hyped up over it. It's just another day. Find the beauty and enjoy yourself.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Weather only affects the campus when there is an ice or snow storm and classes are cancelled.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Weather is highly unpredictable at times. One day the sun may be blazing outside and the temperatures could be in the high 90s while the next day snow flurries may be encountered. The weather is constantly changing and is always a surprise.

2 College Junior

Weather: It's Missouri so therefore the weather is random, but it doesn't normally interfere with getting to/enjoying school unless it is snowing badly, but if it does they usually cancel school

The weather in Missouri is very mysterious with a twist of unpredictability. It may be very humid with sunshine one day, and then the next week a winter storm may be in the forecast. Dressing for all four seasons, regardless of the actual season is your best bet to become acclimated to the climate. At the beginning of the school year, when summer is winding down, bring some shorts, khakis, T-shirts, and an umbrella. It seems to rain often in the fall. When winter begins, get out your scarves, hats, and a nice coat. The weather here can be wonderful or dreadful, but it's up to you to make the best out of each day.

The spontaneity of the weather is very exciting and a good experience to share with other students. Just prepare yourself for anything! Bring little bit of everything, expect the unexpected, and remember that every season brings a whole range of temperatures.
