3 College Freshman

Parking: They could use more parking spots and bigger slots. The space is very small, not made for a SUV or a truck.

3 College Freshman

Parking: Every year the freshman class gets larger, resulting in a more difficult time finding parking, but I have never not found a spot. Sometimes it takes fifteen minutes of circling. With the construction going on, it makes it more difficult. Hopefully there will be some sort of expansion.

4 College Junior

Parking: Parking on campus is pretty good. there are a lot of different parking lots around campus. The parking is free, but you must have your parking permit or you will get a parking ticket from public safety.

4 College Freshman

Parking: Enough spaces for everyone, but some times there is a bit of a walk to get to classes.

4 College Junior

Parking: The price for the parking permit is a little high, but it's worth paying. There are a lot of spots all over campus, and while some sections fill up quickly, there are still others to park in. As long as you dont park like an idiot, and have your permit sticker on your car, you dont get tickets. All of the buildings are decently close to each other, so there's no need to drive from class to class.

It's definitely recommended that you bring a car because it makes it much easier to get around St. Louis. Parking on campus is getting better for students, but it could still be improved by adding more spaces. At Maryville, nearly everyone has a car, which sometimes can make it little hard to find a spot, but if you're patient, you will be fine.

The mornings are usually the hardest times to find parking spaces because everyone is on campus. Most days you can luck into a great spot—it will happen a few times—and there will be some days when you just can't find anything. A good rule of thumb is to arrive on campus at least 30 minutes before your class to allow you time to find a spot. You'll often see people driving around the parking lot a few times just to see if someone moved.
