3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: The cost of food can be high sometimes but the food taste average.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: Not much to pick from

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Food is well made... not much change though from year to year though. But the best part is the staff, I have gotten to know them all so well! They are so nice and remember everyone and will have conversations with them about how school is going an such.... they are that extra pick me up!

5 College Junior

Campus Dining: The dining hall is large, with tables and regular cafeteria chairs, and also couches, TV's, and a lounge area. The menu has a wide variety of food, and most items are available throughout the day. The cost is a little high, but the quality of the food is good. I personally dont eat often on campus, but when I do, it's worth it.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: Dining Hall, Cafe, Kahldi's – options include:
one card- ID card in which you put money on to use wherever on campus, like a credit card
dining plan- you get a set number of meals per semester, or you pay $6.10 to eat at dining hall
cafe is usually opened and food is good, little expensive but good

The dining hall gives students few options to choose from, but the food is fairly enjoyable. There are special entrées for the students, spanning with a wide range in food selection. Inside the dining hall, you’ll notice they have a few food bars as well. The chef makes sure there is always a mixture of cuisine to satisfy the needs of the students. The food selections have enough flair to get our mouths watering and wanting more.

Dining services encourages students to give their opinions and suggestions about the menus through a survey, and feedback is taken into consideration when adjusting the menu. Maryville has only one dining hall, but it is in the process of expanding. The expansion on the dining hall will not only give the students more food options but also a larger area for them to socialize.

The Donius University Center, known as the DUC, is a small area where you can get something simple and quick to eat. The prices are also inexpensive, so if you’re low on money or just need a fast meal, that is definitely the best option. The other great parts to the DUC are the healthy options, such as sandwiches, salads, and wraps. Maryville even has a Kaldi’s Café in the University Library. Kaldi’s serves hot and cold drinks and delicious fruit smoothies, as well as desserts like cookies and brownies. The environment is completely mellow and relaxing, with comfortable couches and a TV, and it's a great place to study, listen to music, or just socialize.
