Off-Campus Housing: There are a lot of places off-campus. They range from upscale apartment complexes to dingy little studios in converted warehouses, so you can really find something in your price range. There are a lot of students around, but also families and old people so some of the neighborhoods are really nice. Bolton Hill, especially, is really safe. Parking is cheap for Bolton Hill-- it's street parking and you just need to buy a sticker for your car. MICA has a page online where landlords can post available spaces or students can find roommates.

Off-Campus Housing: Its worth it yo RAs suck plus once its under 850 a month you are saving money on the cost of living and you don't have someone watching you all the time so freedom XD

5 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: Off campus housing is very polish at MICA after freshman year. The housing costs are reasonable and vary so you can find one in your budget easily. The easiest way to find off campus housing since the school doesn't help is the MICA off campus housing Facebook group where people post about moving out or looking for roommates or subletters.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: The buildings are usually old and need repair, but are spacious enough to where if you really wanted you could probably split a bedroom.
Though you probably wont find single apartments, and will probably need at least one other roomate

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There are many great options for off-campus housing around MICA that range from $400 a month to $800 a month. The majority of upperclassmen live off campus, so the search at the end of the year is usually very competitive. If you want to live off campus I would suggest looking early in the year.
