Off-Campus Dining: Being in a city increases our off-campus dining immensely. It is always a joy to venture into a new area of the city and try a new restaurant. Milwaukee has a wide variety from delicious hole-in-the-wall spots to everyone's favorite chain restaurants, there is really something for everyone!

Off-Campus Dining: Off campus dining is great because we have the entire city of Milwaukee that is filled with different types of cuisine. Most places I have gone to cost around 8-10$ a person, which is reasonable. Many places are convenient because buses drive through campus often and many places such as Panera and Chipotle are less than a ten minute bus ride. Other options that are closer include Jimmy Johns, Qdoba, Papa Johns, and Starbucks. I think we have a great variety. Best places to check out would be: Public Market, Dogghaus, Sobelman's, and Benelux Cafe.

Off-Campus Dining: There are many different restaurants in Milwaukee and in the surrounding areas.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: It's good. There's a few on campus places but since we are so close to downtown Milwaukee there's a TON more options just a 5 minute bus ride away.

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There is not much around. There are many options in the city, but directly within reasonable walking distance, you aren't going to find anything delicious.

All Marquette students get a bus pass—U-Pass—that allows them to ride the Milwaukee Country Transit bus as much as they want for free, so if you have the money and don't mind a little bus ride, eating off campus can be a fun adventure even if you don’t have a car. Living in the city offers an endless amount of restaurants to choose from, and since there are a wide variety of ethnicities represented in Milwaukee, there are a lot of different ethnic cuisines here, as well.

Closer to campus, you will find the typical college restaurants. There is a Jimmy John’s, Marquette Gyros, Papa John’s, Qdoba, Real Chili, The Dogg Haus, Subway, and Cousins Subs all a short walk from the dorms. There are also a few diners that are reasonably priced and offer good food, as well as Chinese restaurants that deliver to the dorms. All of the menus can be found at the front desk of each dorm. Students probably won't like the food in the dining hall, but there is definitely something for everyone when it comes to off-campus dining.
