Campus Resources: Technology Is Absent! we have nothing at the school to help us!!! we have to do it on our own time, half the time the printer is always broken or the office computer!

Academic Experience: School Is Not Worth 20 Grand for an Education – Options are endless, there's a nail tech course ( pay out of pocket for, no loans), estetics course ( again out of pocket) cosmetology ( includes all courses and does have options for fiancing) make up artistry as well. Some teachers are wonderful, and are more hands on, some can't teach worth a crap. We have a structured curriculium but i find as well as other students that certain subjects should have more time spent learning them, and more practicals. Others not so much time. The tutoring is also very slim, because instructors that are tutoring have their own classrooms with certain amount of students. The student kits are very cheap, and our salon equipment is not at all comfortable with clients.

Overall Experience: Great Day Teachers but Horrible Structure – I've been Attending Brio now for over a year. I currently am a day student but started as evening. When I first began going, I loved what I was learning, I had an amazing teacher who did wonders with students, sadly she had moved to days and I was given a new instructor who slacked and made night school crappy. Evening classes here at the school are not what works. The place is ran by a nice woman but honestly we hardly ever have products for clients on salon days, Its kind of dirty, and the atmosphere stinks. Rules are not followed, and its at times very loud and unruly. I'm happy to say that Brio was just bought over by an amazing company out of california and I'm praying that with this new company many positive changes can be brought to the students and they can be happy when they leave and graduate. Currently I'm paying almost 20 grand for a school that isn't worth ten. I just want to hurry up and graduate so i can find a learning program in a salon to extend my knowledge. Also another factor is some instructors are not by any means personable and professional.
