Tuition & Financial Aid: Our school has "the most affordable tuition of any private four-year college in the Capital District." I appreciate the fact that they offer excellent Associate's degrees, so that I can change my career more quickly, with less expense. I have had great difficulty with the financial aid process, but I think that is my own lack of understanding. I was blindsided by this semester's bill; I was under the impression that the financial aid I applied for last August would cover the entire year. I am still unsure about the reason for that experience, but I imagine that my own financial ineptitude was the cause. The financial aid office is always willing to give me advise and point me back on the right path. I think a simple form with clear instructions and deadlines would help someone like me.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Maria College went through step-by-step process with me. I did get some financial aid. I will have a lot of student loans when I graduate.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think tuition can be less that what it is since it is a small private school. Since I pay out of pocket and do not receive any financial aid, it is a little bit expensive. But what I appreciate about the school they are willing to work out a payment plan with the students so the students can attend the college.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel like that the school is a little pricey. Their is a community college in the next town that I feel is not as expenceive for the same education. The school is smaller and so you get more one-on-one experience and the attention that you need but a little pricey.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Due to a series of events my mother lost her job and then went in the hospital and has since only returned to work part time, my financial aid needs changed dramatically. While they could not offer any additional grants or aid they help me to secure a loan help pay for my tuition.
The FA dept took the time to re evaluate our fafsa and took in to consideration all of my mothers medical expense and unemployment. They were a big help.
