Academics: I feel that while most state schools are struggling because of funding, Mansfield has made the student's academic experience their first priority.

Majors: I wish that there was Music Therapy program offered and more languages, but I am very happy with the programs that are currently offered here.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: I love my program at MU. Music Education is very demanding, but not any more that it will be when I go out into the work force which I really appreciate. I think that MU is getting me ready for a real job and I love that!

Weather: This winter was particularly bad with snow so that did make things hard for commuters.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Although I am not personally very involved in athletics, I still can see how important they are to most students. There is a huge involvement in sports at MU.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: For a small school, I truly believe that MU has lots of diversity.

2 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I don't like Greek life at my school and I don't plan on ever rushing for a fraternity or sorority.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: There is not very much off living campus unless you rent.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: the computers are okay could be better, and the wifi likes to mess up and doesn't have very good range sometimes.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: The Weather is great. A little rough in winters but that's what you get for PA.

2 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather has its ups and downs, making class difficult to get to at times.

Campus Strictness: I think the strictness is at an appropriate level...I do wish the strictness with noise violations was a bit more present than it is, but overall not bad.

Health & Safety: Aside from times when peopel are obviously partying (homecoming and what not) the campus feels very safe although I would never walk by myself in the places that aren't fully lit at night.

Transportation: The schools shuttle runs most of the day and for the most part it stays to its schedule, but every once in a while it will get a little behind but not by much.

Scholarships: The financial aid office has always been helpful and fast, though I haven't heard the same from my friends.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: I don't really have much to say on the athletics seeing as I don't participate in them nor do I attend the events.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: In my major there are many opportunities for internships or ways of helping out students from the local school districts, I'm not sure about the other majors though. I would assume that there are an equal amount of opportunites for the other students on/off campus.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: I really like my program, I have had a lot of ups and downs dealing with personal issues but my professors and my advisor were willing to listen and to help me any way they could.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I don't really know much about greek life at MU simply becasue I choose to be uninvolved with their organizations, they do not appeal to me that much.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: I would say that it is almost impossible for every computer/computer lab to be used at the same time so students won't have to worry about never having a computer to use. But it is nice to have your own personal computer for group assignment or projects.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: The campus has a wide variety of students and for the majority, they are very accepting of each other, making the university feel like on big family.

4 College Freshman

Computers: The internet speed and availability is very well. It is in most buildings, and is fairly reliable. There may be times when it isn't the best, but it still isn't too bad. The main problem is when people use their own personal routers because it interferes with the rest of the wifi

3 College Freshman

Athletics: I see many people attend the varsity sports. Intermurals are left out of the equation for the most part, but if you can get some friends to be on your team, or even have some show up to watch, it really makes them much more fun.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: The police know the rules, but they can't be picking out all the problems 24/7 so they have to pick out the worst cases and deal with them as they show up.

3 College Freshman

Weather: Rain and snow make classes difficult to get to, or at least makes them not a fun task. The wind will make you shiver, but when the sun is out everything is just fine.
