Local Atmosphere: The biggest attraction that Manhattan has to offer is the Flint Hills Discovery Center, a sort of children's museum. The mall in Manhattan is the biggest shopping center in the area with a wide variety of stores. There are two large parks which locals probably spend the majority of their time. These parks are spacious and have many things to do. Local coffee shops are great. Other than that, Manhattan's biggest feature is definitely KSU.

Health & Safety: I do not know that MCC actually has campus police. There are not many measures taken to ensure safety, though I do not feel that any of the students or faculty are threatening. The only safety threat I see is non-students who come to campus, sometimes on heavy drugs. MCC is also located right next to Aggieville, a place in downtown Manhattan where many of the KSU students go to get drunk on weekends. We sometimes have drunk people walk through campus because of this, and there is little security other than what the faculty can provide.

Diversity: MCC is mostly full of Christians but there are a few who come to the school for easier classes or just sports. We don't have many races, it's mostly populated with Caucasians but everyone is extremely accepting. You can definitely get in a heated conversation over politics with some people at the school, they are mostly republicans.

Scholarships: They have always helped me as much as they possibly can, and it's helped my stress level lower a ton! Some of the online billing is confusing, but overall that department does a very nice job.

Health & Safety: I would say our campus is fairly safe. It's kind of scary at times because people walk through our parking lots after going to the bars, but nothing to be worried about.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Campus is pretty safe. Manhattan is a small college town anyways so not a whole lot happens. MCC campus is right next door to Aggieville though (clubs) so game days, fake patty's day, and new years you just have to be careful because there are a lot of drunk people.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are tons of options surrounding the campus and they're all low-price. Many of them a fast because they are fast food restaurants, so there's not too much of a wait.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Theres a place called aggieville that is walking distance from the school filled with clubs and restaurants. There is a no drinking policy at Manhattan Christian College but you can still go to the clubs 18 and older for some. K-State is also next door so you have a lot of opportunity to hang out with people outside of MCC.

2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: For the first year, it's phenomenal if you take the time to apply but after your first year, it goes downhill and the college is not too great with offering many scholarships and they're not good with anything financially to be honest.

Parking: Parking on campus is great. There is a small parking lot but not many people have cars so it works out. It costs around $50.00 per semester for a parking permit and if you get a ticket you will have to pay 25.00 which is costly.

Athletics: Since it is a private college, there isn't many sports available and the ones we do have, have a low attendance since the team performance is never spectacular.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: The athletics are a great way to get involved in the shool and meet new people. Also the teams are really great. They win a lot of titles.

3 College Freshman

Majors: Have good grades and good GPA. Be a hard working student.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I am thrilled with the program I am in. I would pick the same program if I had to do it again

4 College Freshman

Majors: I am currently a dual degree student, which means that I am currently going to Kansas State University and Manhattan Christian College. I am studying to graduate with a B.S in Accounting and a Masters in Business at Kansas State University. At Manhattan Christian College I will be studying just a Bible leadership degree. I am super excited to pursue an accounting degree, I love it.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: The financial aid process is a little slow, and could be improved. I really wish that it was easier and not so stressful. You tend to have to continually ask when you need something done

Campus Strictness: Manhattan Christian College is a private Christian school. They have many policies to abide by such as, no drinking alcohol, no doing drugs, no smoking or use of tobacco, and no cheating. We sign an integrity contract agreeing to these things and more. I love having these rules enforced, it helps to keep me from doing the wrong things.

Local Atmosphere: Manhattan is a moderate sized town, with lots to do and tons of great people. All of the churches seem to have positive uplifting atmospheres, and the teachers at Manhattan Christian College and Kansas State are both amazing.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There is very good dining at a good cost on off campus dining.

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: No one on my campus does drugs that I am aware of.

5 College Freshman

Academics: To get this grade you would have to work very hard and really take time with your homework.

5 College Freshman

Facilities: Manhattan Christian College's campus life is a great experience. There is a strong community there and always fun activities. It is a great place to meet new people and spend a few years while studying for a degree.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Our athletics are pretty good for a small school. We don't have any athletic facilities though. Our school uses the city's parks and gymnasiums to practice.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: One great thing about Manhattan Christian College is they have a great outreach program. They provide a lot of opportunities to reach out and serve in the community. They have a week where people come in that need volunteers and the college kids can sign up to help them.

College Freshman

Nightlife: Students at Manhattan Christian College generally don't participating in the nightlife. The college believes that students should not be drinking alcohol. Also freshmen have a curfew so they do not stay out late.
