5 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Both girls and guys at Loyola are very hardworking and driven individuals when it comes to their academics, but are also among the most friendly student populations that I have ever seen. A vast majority of people are accepting and outgoing. The dress isn't just "preppy", that is a myth. People dress nice, but everyone has their own individual style and aren't of just one mold. The average Loyola student is very clean-cut and cares for themselves well.

5 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Girls who go here on average, are very good looking. Yet sometimes a lot better looking than their actual personalities

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: The students at Loyola are basically white, Catholic, and come from a private school in either New Jersey or New York. Coming from a public school, it was a little weird for me at first to be surrounded by such a lack of diversity, but if you look past those stereotypes you will find that the students are so much more than that. Many students are not actually religious so the school is as Catholic as you want it to be. Many students love to party and go out on the weekends despite how hard working they are during the week. Many students are involved in at least one thing (usually several) on campus, and the number of clubs and activities at this school will astound you. The best way to describe Loyola students is friendly, outgoing, and suffering from a severe lack of sleep.

Guys & Girls: Apparently, we were rated one the best looking & preppiest schools -so believe it. You'll see all the usual prep-lux brands here - a lot of kids drive nice cars too. Looks - people are pretty good-looking. Guys are more lax-influenced, otherwise they're reppin' the Sperrys. Girls are Patagonia, Northface, Polo-clad and everyone's fit. We do love to FAC here(fitness & aquatics center, hah tricked you)

Students at Loyola, both guys and girls, dress themselves very well. Brand names are commonly seen but by no means required, and no one is judged for not wearing a certain brand of clothing. The students here do, however, pride themselves on dressing nicely, with a common, slightly preppy style. There are many styles of clothes that fit in here, however, and many students look nice when going to and from class. There are days when students do wear sweatpants to class, which is understandable at any college, but it is common for most students to dress nicely when going to class.

There are a lot of good looking guys and girls at this school, but very few are looking for a long-term relationship. Like all college freshmen, the guys and girls here all have some maturing to do, but overall they all come from middle-upper class families, were raised well, and are nice, respectful, focused on academics and athletics, and happy to be at Loyola. All of the students here have a huge amount of school pride.

Social Scene
Don't get me wrong-there are plenty of hot guys at Loyola. Even if they are not impeccable, the clothes and smile will get you every time. These Northern boys tend to be more driven, cultured, audacious, cocky, chauvinistic, money-hungry, outwardly spoken, forward, and fast (in every sense). They are also very intelligent, but it is a fact that there are more good-looking girls on this campus than there are hot guys. For the most part, the girls here are independent, intelligent, strong-willed, proud drinkers, personable, friendly, and undercover late-night binge eaters. But sometimes, Northern girls can be harshly blunt, overbearing, gossipy, capricious, easily ruffled, and self-absorbed.
Hookups or Relationships?
The guys at Loyola are non-committers. This is not their fault; the immense beauty brought to the campus by the girls makes it hard to pick just one. Our generation has maximized the term "hookup," and unfortunately for some, the dating scene has been kicked to the side with chivalry.
Dress Code
No pajamas or sweats here, but no black boots and bangles either. Welcome to the land of the extreme prep; it doesn't get much better than this. And although some surrounding schools have supposedly nicknamed us J.Crew U. and Abercrombie U., it hasn't affected the Loyola morale. Loyola places extreme pride in the polo, faded jeans, pearls, flip-flops, mini skirts, and collars up. Stores and brands Loyola kids keep in business include, but are not limited to, Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, Banana Republic, Coach, Gap, Hollister, J.Crew, Kate Spade, Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren, and Tiffany's.
