1 College Freshman

Nightlife: There are 3 bars in the town and they are all below average; especially once you've been a few times. There is nothing to say about the nightlife other than non-existent.

3 Recent Alumnus

Nightlife: There is usually something fun to do on the weekend, but options are limited.

2 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Limited bars and clubs; have to be 21+ years old to access. They are quite distant for walking, and cabs are limited and quite expensive. If anything, try to acquaint fraternity and sorority members to join their parties, if you want some nightlife fun. Or else, just have a house party for yourself and some friends and it'll be a lot more fun than going to a bar.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Bar Scene – We only have 2 dance type bars and 2 or 3 drinking bars. They can be fun depending on who is there, but they get old after a few visits. This town needs more variety.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Nightlife for students over 21 is good, but not great. At 18 you can get into the bars, because they are also restaurants, but you cannot drink. There are a few restaurant bars, like Rabb's, 3 Doc's, and Dawg House, but not many more. If you want to go to a "club" you have to travel 35 minutes away, to Monroe, LA. So, most of the time spent socializing around Ruston, LA is at house parties. House parties are free and usually less crowded. Your best bet on a Friday or Saturday night is a party at one of the Fraternity Houses around campus or simply hanging out with friends who live off campus.
