3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The security is present but not always visible.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I would choose this school again because I graduated with my bachelors from here.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The financial aid process is much easier now that the IRS copies your W2 to the Fafsa application.

4 College Junior

Facilities: It's connected to many different other colleges that have people in majors such as (medical school, PA school, speech therapy school, etc.)

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: This specific nursing school is preparing me for the type of nurse I want to become.

5 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: New Orleans is an awesome city to live in especially during college.

3 College Junior

Nightlife: Our nursing school puts together parties at the beginning and end of each semester to celebrate.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Our campus supports LSU's sports but only has the intramural sports of its own that is not as poplar as much as other sports are at LSU.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There is so much variety to choose from when living off-campus.

4 College Junior

Majors: It is a great school, but much more intense than any other nursing programs in the area. However, once graduated you are honored with a degree from LSU which is highly respected.

5 College Junior

Majors: Through the intensity of this program, I feel like I will be adequately prepared to work on my patients compared to those of other programs. I want to continue my education to nurse practitioner and with LSU this opportunity can make this goal achievable for me. I do not have any concerns about finding a job in my career.

5 College Junior

Campus Strictness: The police officers are on duty 24 hours a day and there is surveillance cameras that are all over campus.

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: Everyone in our campus is very dedicated to their studies and drugs are not an issue. The school gives random drug tests frequently.

4 College Junior

Parking: Our school has multiple parking lots that are under 24 hour surveillance with police officers on duty at all times. It is close to campus and all school facilities.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Housing near campus is very expensive if you want housing that is safe.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Overall this is a great school for nursing. I would chose this school every time. I love the staff and the hands on learning.

3 College Junior

Weather: The weather is very inconsistent. It rains a lot and it goes form hot to cold over night.

4 College Junior

Diversity: A lot of the students are from many countries, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: The food is good, but it is very limited. There is not a ton of choices to chose from.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: The students at our school are very dedicated to their studies. When the schedule permits all of the students do like to have fun and participate. The students are friends but because of the high course load a lot of the students are very stressed.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: The office that deals with financial aid is very helpful but time consuming. All the roles are put on just a few people so it takes a long time to hear back from people when you are trying to get information.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Our campus facility is very academic oriented. Because it is a health science center most of our extra curricular activities are based around health care. The few events we do have that are not health care based are a lot of fun and everyone attends.

3 College Junior

Athletics: The athletics at our school are good, but our not a huge focus on our campus. The school and students are very busy with school work and the schedules are pretty crazy so there is not a lot of time to participate in sports. With that said when events come up everyone is supportive and very team oriented.

5 College Junior

Athletics: I associate the Health Sciences Center with LSU Athletics.

4 College Junior

Weather: The campus isn't really in an ideal location to spend time outside.
