4 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Yes, the education am getting is worth the money financial aid gave me!

Career Services: I am not sure about this topic. I know LSUA offers events for students to look for jobs, but I haven't really looked into that yet!

Academic Experience: I don't have a declared major at LSUA. I am thinking about chemical engineering, but LSUA does not have any kind of engineering degrees!

Academic Experience: The educational value at LSUA is good for the majors that it offers. It has some really good teachers for majors such as Biology. Unfortunately, there is not an engineering major which I could talk about.

Academic Flexibility: The academic flexibility for me has been alright for this first half of year at LSUA. Classes get a little too hard sometimes, but I always manage it to succeed on class. Some classes are harder than others, but that does not make it impossible to make an A on that class; that is the case of calculus, a 5 credit hour class, it was tough, but not impossible to make an A. Some classes just require a bit more hard work!

Online Courses: Personally, I rather take classroom courses instead of online courses because I keep more in track with face-to-face courses. However, I have taken online course at LSUA, and the class material was good. Even though, since it was my first time taking an online class, I had a little trouble at the beginning because of time management issues. However, I managed to fix my technique of study to succeed on the class!

Student Body: I would say that the student body at my school is pretty cooperative, judging by what I have seen. People help each other when they need it, the organisations unite to work on projects for the community and for the university, but overall, people is friendly with each other. I have been at LSUA for about half of a year, and all I have seen is good connivance among the students!

Facilities: My school is small, so there's not much to really do compared to other universities.

Student Body: This is my first semester at LSUA, and I honestly like it. I wish there was more I could get involved in, but so far so good. I love my teachers, they are so nice and helpful, when I need extra help all I have to do is email them and I would get an answer instantly.

Online Courses: The online courses were very easy and the test were essay questions that the teacher e-mailed us and made us reference where we found the material in the book when we used it.

Academic Flexibility: My class schedule causes me to leave work at different times during the day and my job allows me to do so because they want me to do well in school and to keep a high GPA.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: There are a lot of study rooms in the library and recently they put in whiteboards so that way students can help each other and teach each other things that they don't understand.

Academic Experience: Each degree has their own programs and workloads. The departments are helpful with getting students internships.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Classes with the most favorited professors are the ones that will go the quickest and it's a first come, first serve.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid department is not the best at some times during a semester and they are slow at posting the aid for the students and they don't audit the accounts when schedules are put in, instead they wait until the third week of the new semester and they take away aid if a student has not kept the standards.

5 College Freshman

Career Services: Students who have graduated and were student workers were able to apply for jobs on the campus before others from outside were able to apply.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It's fun and I learn something new everyday.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: They are getting new sports added and the libraries are easy to deal with.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The internet goes down every now and then during important times and they don't give out very many free prints.

5 College Freshman

Student Body: There are a lot of different students that have different opinions and everyone respects them.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: It is my opinion that more classes need to be offer; as an example courses needed to fulfill for graduation is limited. One class might be taught in a later semester which makes getting a degree more time consuming. Another thing that prohibits a student is there are too many preresquites inhibits students from taking require courses needed. An example you have to take this class before you can take the course needed. However, it has been proven time and time again that each student excels and learn at different levels.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: There's not much variety in the course offerings.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: All-in-all, I feel like I'm in an extended high school. There is so much dependence of grades upon attendance and homework. What happened to the freedom of being in college? It hardly matters how well you do on the tests, quizzes, and papers.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I took three online, A-term only courses over the summer. They were super fast-paced and condense quite a bit, but still worthwhile.
