Student Body: Not many people have talked to me or spoken out in class, but the few who have seem to be smart and willing to learn.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: When I first started I believed that it would be a great year and I had high expectations. However, after being there for a month I've changed my mind. After they almost didn't accept my payment for school, they put me in a class where the teacher doesn't work with his students'. All I'm told is when we have homework, no extra help at all.

2 College Junior

Facilities: There isn't much to do at LDCC, the only programs we really have are fishing and theatre.

1 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I'm a first time college student that has to do everything on my own, I've asked many questions however no one has been able to help me. It's frustrating knowing that they are there to help me but they don't even act like they care.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: It's a hard school to get into and they will not work with you at all. It's all on yourself to get in and do good, no noe there helps or cares about you at all.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Louisiana Delta Community College has been a great school so far. I do have tops that cover some of my tution but I cannot recieve finacial aid. I do think that I should be able to recieve it living on my own, but I am only 18 so I cannot specify living on my own yet. The school has helped me a lot with all my questions about everything. I do think I am getting my moneys worth going to school here.

Campus Resources: The resources on campus are awesome. The computer network rarely has issues and you are made aware if they do. Printing is great. You get like 500 pages per semester! Delta has computer labs all over. If there isn't a class already in there, you can go in there and do your work.

Campus Resources: Because it is a community college and not a four year university, Delta does not have a gym or sport's teams. The library is not huge but it is suitable for all your needs. The campus is comfortable enough to hang out on in between classes.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Delta holds seminars to help with job hunting and resume writing. All the faculty are really nice and pleasant. They are more than willing to answer your questions. They have plays and art shows. Delta really puts forth the effort to help you figure out your future.

Online Courses: I was super nervous about taking online courses. However, that soon changed. The professors are super helpful. You can email them and they will quickly answer any and all of your questions. You do need to be self motivated. Most of the professors post all of the assignments and their due dates at the beginning of the semester. Each week, your professor may or may not remind you what is due that week. It is up to you to stay on top of your assignments and turn them in on time.

Academic Flexibility: The school is very convenient to the students. Even if you are done with your finals, you can still come back up to the school.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: There is nothing really wrong with this school. The people in it are helpful. Everything is pretty much easy to do at your own pace.

Academic Flexibility: For me, the scheduling and classes available have been perfect and always work out for my schedule. I havnt heard many people complain except for specific classes after you take your basic. As for transfering credits, i dont know about to, but I hear to transfer from, that its easy and all the four year universities accept the credits.

College Senior

Online Courses: I'v never takein one, but I hear their ok as long as you keep up with the assignments and submit them on time. The only down fall is people dont get to know the teachers as well as if you were in a class room

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have really enjoyed my time at delta and tell friends all the time that they need to get in college, and if they do,to take their basics at delta. Most of the teachers I've had have been great instructors, as well as mentors. They all have their on way of teaching and makeing grades. Some go by the book, some go off knowledge and experience, and some combine. I haven't had a class yet were I did not learn something new or been opened to a certain view or way of at looking at a subject. I also like how the classes are small and the teachers help you within class and out. They will also advise or give you assistance with out side school problems. Theirs one teacher/advisor thats helped me since my first semester and he has been a great help in helping me to decide whats best for me to reach my goals. As for every thing else about the school, Its ok,but I'm ready for a more full on college campus experience. I want to join oganizations, groups, make friends, and live on campus. A smoother and quicker finacial aid process would be better to. I had difficulty with the first two women assigned to me, but when I asked if I could go through the main woman, things got better. She was nicer, helpful, explained thing out, and seemed like she had her stuff together. Over all, Great school.. just needs more money to add on to the place for students to get involved more.

Student Body: Large Range in Ages – There are students from all walks of life and in all life stages at my college. Some are directly out of high school, others are a bit non-traditional, still others are of an older generation and working toward a second career.

4 College Student

Career Services: I believe that the vareer services at this school are above average. I think they specialize in career training rather than just pure acedemics.

3 College Student

Overall Experience: I have been attenging this school for almost a month now and i feel that this school is average. It's acedemics are nothing above average. It is a good school though. I just don't like that there are no campus activites to be involved in. I am a freshman there and i'm only there to recieve 12 credit hours so i'll never get the full experience. As far as i can see though, it's just a pretty average school. Some of the professors there seem less educated than they should be. It has horrible help services. For example, the financial aid office is extremely unhelpful. They caused numorous students' applications to process late and caused those students to pay out of pocket. It was not a good experience dealing with those people. Overall, the school is a B grade school.

Career Services: I haven't had a lot of experience in this area. But ask me that closer to graduation and I will tell you exactly what I think.

Online Courses: LDCC Online Experience – LDCC's online program works good. I don't have any complaints other than in one of my classes, I didn't feel that "Teacher/Student" connection. The professor always kept it short and was some what slow when responding to emails. One professor (Mrs. Bowman) was the best!!!! I hated to end each semester with her. She was a breath of fresh air and she was really sweet.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: LDCC Experience – LDCC is a really great school! Since moving to our new college campus, I thought that the classes would be overly crowded, but they're not. The professors will go out of their way to make sure you excell, they want you to succeed as bad as you want to succeed. If I could do it all over again, I would start with LDCC and go to a 4 year college for my bachelors degreee. I absolutely love that place and I'm so glad I made the decision to start my journey there.
