Academic Experience: I love my major in my school and I enjoy all my classes and the work from my professors since they get me prepared to have the best job in future and get more exposure to all available job opportunities that I access as a student.

Academic Experience: I love working with my professors because they make learning enjoyable and fun.

Online Courses: I have learned a lot of new different things from the online classes from my school since my professors work closely with us students and this is helps students build more interest in their careers and get more skills that will make them successful. The online classes also help students interact since they can ask and answer questions in the class and access them from where ever they are.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I love the work our school's financial aid office does by helping most students get their financial aid and also helping them know about other ways to fund their tuition and this helps them a great deal in completing their studies successfully and comfortably.

Facilities: I love the tutors in the transfer academy in my school because they prepare transferring students to get to 4 year colleges and help them do it successfully. Our school has a career center that helps students have future good careers and secure part time jobs while in school and get good jobs after completing school.

Facilities: We have a lot of outdoor features such as fountains and grassy fields.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I haven't had any problems.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I don't really know much about any of those resources.

3 College Junior

Student Body: There are a lot of very lazy students who seem to be there because they have to, rather than because they want to.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I went into the financial aid office for an appointment, they told me I still had missing letters to submit. After 5 days I received my financial aid. They were extremely helpful.

Overall Experience: My favorite thing to do at this school is go on university tours held by the transfer center (located on the second floor of the main campus building). They are all free (transportation and lunch). I don't have a car, so it helps me to travel to more distant places and see what the colleges are like. I am glad I chose a community college because it's giving me a second chance to prove to the universities that I can be successful at their campuses. I also get to avoid that huge amount of debt for the first two years of being at a university.

Academic Flexibility: I am in my second semester of community college. I am not transferring anytime soon because I am a little behind. I took developmental courses for my first semester, but now I am taking college level transferable courses. Absences are looked down upon at this school. One absence can hurt your grade in some classes because a teacher might pull a major test question from that class that you're absent from. I think they are more flexible than high school, so it's good.

Facilities: We have the only Transfer Academy in the nation. This program is only 3 years old and is one of the biggest programs on this campus. I was once a club secretary for STARS (Student Transfer Academy Representatives) and it opened so many doors to leadership positions. You have to get your name known on this campus if you want to have a higher chance of getting an on campus job. There isn't a lot of social scene at this campus. Majority of the people just go home after classes.

College Junior

Online Courses: I have yet to take an online course. I am not sure about these yet. I learn better in a classroom setting.

College Junior

Career Services: I have been to the career center a few times. It wasn't very helpful to me, so I just go see my favorite counselors instead. I am currently looking for a mentor to guide me instead of a career counselor.

Academic Experience: I am currently undecided, although I must choose a major to receive financial aid. So, I chose Graphic Communications. I chose it because my mom says I have some talent in that area; however, I am not interested in it that much. I used to get a 2.2 in high school and now I have a 3.78 at this school. The workload is manageable and I feel like I have more freedom than when I was in high school. There aren't a lot of job opportunities that I hear of on campus, so networking is they key. I joined the Transfer Academy when I entered this school. I am glad I did because it really has been my motivation and I don't know what my grades would be like if the faculty from the Transfer Academy weren't there to inspire me. Honors Program is something that I really want to get into. I am going to apply for the fall semester. If you get into Honors and Transfer Academy (yes, you can be in both), it will look very nice to colleges you want to apply to. I recommend also looking for leadership positions in whatever program you join. I highly suggest you join at least one program at this school because they will be your mentors. Don't just take classes and hurry up to transfer.

Academic Experience: The professors I had and have now (a total of 7), were and are very energetic about the subjects they taught. I recommend using the ratemyprofessor website. All of my teachers gave us syllabi and most of them said the whole curriculum of the year. If you are a low-income student, try joining EOPS. They will give you priority registration to enroll in courses. A lot of the courses get filled up pretty quickly, especially the courses that are transfer level (like math 34 and English 100) and artistic courses. Transfer Academy and Honors have classes specifically for their students. Take advantage of these programs because they will help you transfer faster. The C.O.R.E. is where they do tutoring for everything but math I believe. The math lab is located in the math building and the C.O.R.E. is located on the third floor of the main campus. A lot of people don't take advantage of the C.O.R.E. You are paying for these tutoring services, might as well use them!

Student Body: There are people with all kinds of personalities, backgrounds, ethnicities, and beliefs. This is a great campus to go to. It will help people to learn to work with different personalities and beliefs. This school has helped me not to just find my own opinion on things, but also think of other people's opinions too.
