Academic Experience: All of my classes have turned out to be a great help. Some involve a lot of work but i have learned a lot and am doing great even with the heavy workload.

Online Courses: I love online courses! They are different from traditional classroom, most students failed due to the fact that they do not pay attention to when an assignments due date is/or the lack managing their time for the class and completing the work. For online courses one has to make sure to stay on top of it and check it every day/ at least print the syllabus off and check it every day. The workload varies I have taken multiple online courses and it all depends on how much work the professor wants to assign. Most of the time the professor are willing to help students if they email them with a question and or concern. Most of the online classes have a forum where they can talk to other students and ask for help though from my experience this never is used rather it is always empty so I'm assuming the just go straight to the professor and ask.

Campus Resources: The library is decent-sized but not too big. The athletic centers are nonexistent. the student center has some nice things, mainly a ping-pong table, but not much else. The school itself looks a little old.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Wi-fi is available throughout the entire school, and the service, for the most part, has been very reliable. However, it does cost 10 cents per page to print something out, but we get a $5 tab to start out with.

College Freshman

Student Body: Being a community college, it's been very difficult to get to know anyone, so it's not fair to grade the student body when I barely know anyone. The characters appear to be of a higher quality than high school.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: My school offers some nice classes and finally gives me the freedom I lacked in high school, but it does an inadequate job of preparing for a 4-yr. school since it has a lackluster offering of STEM classes.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: It is difficult because I took a hybrid course where we have to basically teach ourselves online and then listen to further instruction from the professor. Since my major is Chemistry, it is hard for me to teach myself this without a professor's help. However, they do the best that they can to help me out.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Most of the people that attend my school are older, have children, and are single parents. The rest of the students are like me, completing their prerequisites in hopes of transferring to a 4 year university.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors care about the students and try to help them achieve higher grades. However, some of them do not help at all. The classes are also not as challenging, so I feel as though I am enrolled in High School courses still.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The facilites are aesthetically pleasing, the library is up to date, and the student center is filled with nice people.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: This past year the school has put in WEPA printers. They are easy to use, but are overpriced.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: LFCC has the best professors who are always willing to help you out if you do not understand a topic. Mr. Austin, for example, will answer any question you ask, even if its right before a huge anatomy test.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: LFCC is know for being a smaller school but also a school that is producing successful nurses and other practitioners. That would be the strongest point of LFCC

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: When it comes to being prepared in everything like sports libraries activities and the student center LFCC is excellent at it. They try to do everything they possibly can to help the needs of every individual student.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Overall, LFCC is a great school with a few bumps in the road like any other school. I have found that some of the major programs are more prominent than others and I wish that they could try to even everything out a little more. The relationship among the teachers and students is very good and teachers are more than willing to be as helpful to you as they can.

2 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm a Education major, although i started off undeclared, however as far as I know there is a major here for this particular major however I have not found any information on the major or how good the major is.

3 College Junior

Student Body: The majority of the students at LFCC seemed to be somewhat provocative and degrading at times. I have seen many students who are pregnant or will be soon if they are not careful of what they wear. I get the feeling many of the students do not have high personal opinions of themselves. However, there are a few students who are very hardworking and in tune with what they need to do as students. Theses students are here to get an education and not so much 'show off" the goodies like some other students are. They realize that their classes are important and that they are paying for college.

4 College Junior

Career Services: I had a lot of help when I was signing up for classes and the professors here seem to really understand how stressful it can be. I actually had more help from the people at the college than I did went I went to my gurdians

1 College Senior

Online Courses: Although it is really my fault, the workload was almost impossible to keep up with, especially when you are taking four other classes.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The people are different which makes the experience that much more unique.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I struggle with math, but the professors make the appropiate arrangements to make sure I understand the information.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: Always Improving – The campus is always evolving with a new room for academic advising or the plans to lay a foundation for a Student Union building with food, a gym, and more extracurricular resources.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: Well Maintained. While the internet has previously been an issue, aside from an occasional state-wide problem with Blackboard or the VCCS site, resources are well-taken care of and established. Computer labs are easily available, the library is well-stocked, and overall the campus has excellent resources.

4 College Senior

Student Body: Very Diverse Group. The student body at LFCC cover a broad range of ethnicities and socio-economic groups. Most students have jobs, either part or full time, and while there's not as much student involvement as you'd expect at a four year university, there are still around fifteen active student organizations.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Excellent College. LFCC has been an excellent choice. I wasn't originally excited about attending, since I was set on my 4-year, but I fell in love with the school, really got involved, and haven't regretted a thing. The college is great for traditional and non-traditional students, and is a great place to begin your career path especially if you don't know what you want to do.
