4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: They have resource classes, good study ethic, and reasonable workloads.

3 College Senior

Facilities: I like to come to this school because I know some people from High School. I don't have all of my friends at this school but most of them. I don't like how they changed our school name from cannons to lions. I feel like cannons was a great name since the cedar creek battles happened in the area and it felt right. But now we have the lions we are not even close to seeing one.

Campus Resources: I cant wait for the recreation center to be open, it might be packed but I'm sure I will enjoy it when they open it during the spring of 2014. The library is great because the librarians will help you find the book you desire and check it out for you. There is a great online library site provided where you can help locate books in the library and also in other campus across the county.

Campus Resources: Well every time that I want to use the computer it is taken over by another student. Thankfully I have my own laptop so I can use it on my own. The WIFI is great I can use it any where in the building and it pretty fast. I used their WEPA machine which is how you print papers, but you have to pay for it. Why not have it included in the tuition and not pay for it on the spot. I guess they have to get their money some how.

Academic Experience: When I signed up for Lord Fairfax I didn't want to do genera studies because I felt like I wanted to do something better so I have a better chance of getting my requirements faster. I decided to do a science degree because I want to become an engineer of some sort not entirely sure yet.

Academic Experience: My professors are great. They will help you before or after class if you are having a tough time learning the matter given during class. I was helped by my chemistry teacher and he knows what he is talking about. There is also a tutoring center where there will be teachers or students that will help you study for a test or teach you the subject your having trouble on.

College Senior

Career Services: I haven't decided exactly where to transfer yet. I haven't used the services that have been provided for me yet. Right now I'm sure if my parents can afford it right now because they have to put three kids into college including me.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Not everything is going to be what you want. I had to schedule a class on Friday to fit my needs of overcrowding a day of classes. If you apply the day of classes, you will get your schedule that you want one hundred percent, but if you wait too long it might be closed or on the waiting list.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: It is a much cheaper school than going straight off to a four year institution. It is a great school to get a feeling of what college feels like. It is a much different experience because you meet not just the people in your county but other people from different areas. I live close by so I don't have to travel a far distance which is a bonus.

College Senior

Online Courses: I never had an online course nor a hybrid so I wouldn't have any knowledgeable information about it.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: It is an all around great school, it is much cheaper going here for your first two years no doubt about it. I would recommend it because it is close to home where I live and they are building a recreation building soon coming this fall, which will cool to see. Haven't had their food so I wouldn't know much about it.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I have found the classes and curriculum to be easily managed and without frustration.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: Having taken only a few online courses, I can say that the interaction between the professors and students is pretty much no different than if the class had been taken in person rather than online.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: For such a small campus, I was pleased to find the campus resources above average. There are more than enough computers throughout the school, and the library is more modern than I would have thought.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: From printers to computers, there are many of each. The network reliability is fantastic and wireless access can be found just about everywhere.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is very accomodating to people looking to further their education that may or may not have a lot of time or money to do so. As far as financial aid is concerned, I can't give an opinion either way since I do not receive this help.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I think everything has gone just the way that I would have thought.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: My workload is what I would expect from school. The facilities are more than adequate to meet my needs, and there are many internship opportunities to students.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Each of my professors have been great with the exception of one that doesn't seem to have the motivation necessary to be a professor. The class registration process is actually very simple. Overall, I would recommend the school to anyone that wants to further their education.

5 College Junior

Career Services: At Lord Fairfax, they have a work force center helping students get jobs while at school and jobs upon completion of their degree.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The school by all accounts appears to be socially accepting of all types of students.

4 College Junior

Facilities: I have never been to a school that has a men's and ladies' rugby team. Until coming here, I had never seen a rugby match. For such a small college, it is quite amusing to be nationally ranked in the top 25 for the men's rugby team.

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: i mean its just ok. im strictly here at the community college to get my associates degreee and transfer. i mean im saving money by being able to keep my job while simultaneously going to school.

2 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: its overrall very inexpensive in comparison to other community colleges to attend school here. applying for financial aid wasnt hard at all. it was harder however, when i needed a letter of recommendation from my academic adviser for a scholarsip i was applying for to get it. i had notified her i would need a letter from someone in the main office stating that yes, i had a 4.0 and she missed the deadline for the letter and cost me the chance to enter the scholarship.

College Senior

Online Courses: i havent taken an online course so i cannot rate this properly
