Campus Resources: They don't advertise any of the sports or their games so there's no school spirit for it. The student center is very loud and just a place for people to go and talk so it's very distracting for people who are trying to do schoolwork. The library is smaller than a four year university's library. The general campus is very boring so it's uninspiring to be there.

Campus Resources: There aren't many computer labs, printing off things costs .50 cents per page. The reliability and speed of the network is okay, it wasn't overly impressive. Wireless access is a headache in itself because there are multiple accesses that are named LFCC but only one is public and doesn't require a password. You can bring your personal computer to classes but sometimes you're not allowed to use it.

Academic Experience: I'm just going for my general studies degree so there's nothing overly unique about it.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Some professors are kind and willing to help students while some are not. The curriculum sometimes doesn't seem at all helpful.

3 College Senior

Student Body: There's a mix of students at LFCC, they're just like any other student at a four year university just less goal oriented than the four year university student.

Facilities: There's nothing interesting or unique about Lord Fairfax. It's a dull campus that isn't modern or inspiring. I can't wait to leave.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: There's nothing unique to their online classes. Workloads are sometimes heavy because the teachers place unrealistic expectations on the students. The registration process is alright and like applying for traditional classes. I didn't even know some of the professors when I took their classes. I didn't really interact with any of my peers online.

College Senior

Career Services: Lord Fairfax is a college for associative's degree

Overall Experience: The people in financial aid aren't at all helpful, it's hard to get a hold of the academic office, the business office, or anyone at the college in general. Some of the professors aren't helpful while some are actually interested in what they're teaching and the students that are taking their class.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Some of the classes I wanted to take, I wasn't able to because of prerequisites that I had taken in high school but didn't transfer over to the college. Some teachers aren't at all helpful while some are the best I've ever had.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I've paid every semester with money from my college fund and the school marked it as a scholarship and it took days past the due date to actually get into my account and pay for my classes. The same with the scholarship I was awarded in my freshman year and the scholarship I was awarded for my sophomore year. The financial aid office wasn't very helpful in telling me why it was taking so long for it to get into my account. While some classes were worth the money for tuition, some weren't worth the money I paid to take the class.

Academic Experience: nursing program has not lived up to my expectations.
