Facilities: I would say that the campus is pretty average. The only thing that is nice is the University Partnership Progam.

Online Courses: These are so great. The convenience of doing the work whenever I have time is great, and they don't interfere with my work schedule at all! Two of my four classes this semester are online and it's wonderful to still be able to work 30 hours a week.

Academic Flexibility: There are tons of online classes available, and when I was scheduling general classes there were a lot of time slots to choose from. Now that I am deeper into my major, there are fewer options, which makes it a little tougher to schedule, but this semester worked out great with working around work.

Student Body: There is such a variety of people that attend LCCC. From high school students to retired people going back to school, you never know who is going to be in your classes. It definitely gives a different experience to have such a broad spectrum of students.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I was not thrilled to be attending LCCC my first semester, but as I realized that I was unsure of my major, I knew that it was definitely the right choice, and my life would be totally different now if i had attended somewhere else.

Career Services: There are job fairs from time to time, but I have not personally been to the career center or used any of those resources.

Campus Resources: The gym on campus is a great resource, and the student center and library are pretty nice, but there aren't really many activities on campus, and if there are they aren't widely advertised. It being a community college, I don't really spend much time on campus except when I am in class. The campus is nice though because all of the buildings have connectors to neighboring buildings, so when it's raining or snowing, you don't even have to go outside to get from class to class.

Campus Resources: There are computers everywhere on campus, as well as printers. Printing is pretty easy too, and you get $10 worth of prints each semester. The internet is usually pretty reliable also. I don't usually take my computer with me because I don't need it.

Tuition & Financial Aid: LCCC is a community college, and I got my first 2 years free for having such good grades in high school, so it doesn't really get any better than that! Tuition is very cheap, compared to what I will be paying once I start my Ashland Partneship, and I wish that I could still have LCCC's tuition rates!

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The campus is great because they offer University Partnerships, which I will be starting in the fall with Ashland University, and I can continue to attend LCCC and get my degree through Ashland. It is a great way to save time and money while obtaining my degree.

Academic Experience: Most professors are very helpful and always available for assistance if you need it. I have had a few rough classes where professors were absolutely no help, but that is going to happen everywhere. Overall, it's been a pretty good experience with academics at LCCC, and I am proud to say I have been on the Dean's List for a few semesters. Workload is pretty exhausting especially with all the field work necessary for an education major, but somehow it's manageable.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is about as good as it gets. The financial Aid office is also very helpful for those who need assistance.

Online Courses: Through my experience at Lorain County Community College I have had much success with the online courses. The instructors teach on campus as well as the online course so if you are in need of face to face interaction, they are there for you and they are always just an email away. Response time to emails is usually very fast. The online courses also let you interact with other students through email and discussion forums.

Facilities: Lorain County Community College has plenty of comfortable space to study as well as a beautiful courtyard for the warmer months. LCCC also offers unique classes that other colleges may not have.

4 College Junior

Student Body: There is a lot of diversity at Lorain County Community College. Students and faculty are both very friendly and strive to help each other.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: i like that all the buildings are connected. the courtyard is nice to sit in when it is warm out.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: nothing to complain about. i try not to stay on campus too much. i have a hard time concentrating and it is easier for me to do homework at home. the library is a good place to go if i need to stay on campus

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: always had easy access to computers and printers if i needed

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: tuition was a fair price, not too expensive

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: teachers were all at a different hardness level, had to use rate my professor to decide what classes to take

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: had the classes i needed to take. not all of my credits will transfer, but most will.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Since it is a community college tuition is pretty cheap, which is nice. The only problem is it is very hard to get financial aid, and if you are able to receive financial aid a lot of times the money will be on hold. So, by the time the money is off hold the semester is almost over so there is no point in using the money. Also, my schools financial aid office is very disorganized and oftentimes unhelpful.

1 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I also work at the school so luckily they schedule me around my classes, but they schedule me to work everyday during the week. It is annoying, because I am taking fifteen credits of classes, and then working almost over 30 hours a week, it is very stressful. I feel like I have no time for schoolwork, and that's why my grades are slipping a little. Next semester I am hoping to work a lot less and focus more on my academics.

1 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Like I said before I feel like the teachers do not care about teaching. I wouldn't say all of them are like this but a lot of them are. Also, the teachers at my school put all their tests online even in lecture classes, which, is just asking students to cheat and use their book, so the students aren't learning anything. Finally, many of my lasses end half an hour early, because the teacher doesn't have anything else to teach.

1 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The only good thing about the academics is the registration process, because it is simple and easy to do. Just because it is a community college does not mean that teachers should be lazy. Also, I think students need to care a little more, because a big reason teachers do not care is because the students do not care either.
