3 College Senior

Campus Dining: LSE has a variety of eating places on campus (including pubs, cafeterias, and cafes), but even if you don't find something on campus you fancy, LSE is surrounded by plenty of sandwich shops and other dining options.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Not many on campus restaurants. However the few ones available offer good food for decent prices.

Campus Dining: Wright's Bar – Although there are many places to eat on campus the best place to grab lunch is the independently owned Wright's Bar. The sandwiches and hamburgers don't cost much and the people who work there are very friendly. Just make sure to get there before class gets out at lunch time or the line will be down the block!

Campus Dining: Many Options on Campus – There are many places on campus to grab a cheap meal. the cafeteria on the fourth floor of the old building is a hotspot with a themed menu that changes every day. You are also only steps away from amazing lunch options directly off campus

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: The dining provided in the halls is pretty good and relatively cheap. There are numerous dining options on campus as well that are affordable.

There are so many ways to get delicious and inexpensive food on or around campus. On campus, there is a café with a set menu, a cafeteria that serves daily themed menus, two pubs, a sandwich bar, and a Hare Krishna food stand that serves free vegetarian dishes on paper plates. Although the eating establishments on campus are cheap and varied, they are often extremely overcrowded—especially around lunchtime. This sometimes forces students to find food in the area just around campus. Luckily, since the LSE campus is located in the law district of London, there are plenty of places to find lunch in the area. While these options are usually slightly more expensive than the on-campus dining options, many lunch venues offer deals specifically designed for LSE students. The other half of the dining equation lies within the various LSE halls sprinkled around London. Many of the halls have cafeterias of their own which, like the cafeteria on campus, offer daily themed menus also at a very good price. The halls that do not have their own cafeteria do have kitchens in which students can prepare their own meals.

For the most part, students' eating schedules break down as such: breakfast is eaten in the halls or at one of the seemingly millions of coffee shops that litter the London streets, lunch is eaten in and around campus, and dinner is eaten back at the hall cafeteria or in the hall kitchen. These are simply the dining options that the school provides for students trying to be economical. If a student is so inclined and has the means to do so, he or she could experience the amazing restaurant scene that London has become known for.
