4 College Freshman

Facilities: I don't know much about the athletics at LBCC, but I love the class sizes. Also, teachers are all so willing to help guide you in the right direction.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I really needed to attend an affordable school and earn credits, but I also found a supportive community once i began to get involved in school activities. I like the resources available, and the professors Ive had have been top knotch. Better than during my freshman year at a $50000 a year private college. The experience is what you make of it, really. Enjoy the horticulture department, they are the best people always.

5 College Senior

Online Courses: Very good system, if your good at time management.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Everything is centered around the quad, its nicely landscaped, and the library center folks are really friendly.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: lbcc just updated their system, so there are lots of glitches right now.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I get to take art classes and engineering classes at the same time.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Since its a community college, classes dont go beyond a junior level of challenging. That is good for beginner students, but its good to take time to make it applicable and more interesting, sometimes it can feel repetitive in requirement classes.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I had to start this semester late, and the faculty were very accomodating

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I'm getting paid to go to school this year because they didn't raise the tuition with the recession, and the financial aid I'm eligible for covers everything.

4 College Senior

Facilities: There are opportunities to connect with students and help eachother learn hands on. For example, I walked into the mechanics department looking for a certain bolt and ended up having a discussion with a mechanics major that led to me learning how to change my tires, my engine oil, my headlight and other car maintenance stuff. People like to show off what they are learning, and how accomplished they are. Its a very skill oriented college.

4 College Senior

Student Body: Theres a variety of people from all walks of life, not just rich caucasian trust fund babies. Most people are working at the same time, and are pretty focused on their dreams, not playing around.

College Senior

Career Services: I have not graduated yet, nor have I been able to connect with any alums at my community college. However my professors have been very willing to help me locate job opportunities.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Everyone is accepting of one another.

College Junior

Campus Resources: I have not used these resources.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The network and printing options are easy and available.

5 College Junior

Career Services: The staff in the career center are super helpful.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: When I was working full time I had a terrible time trying to find the classes that I needed to take at times that would work with my schedule. I am happy to say that this is no longer an issue, I have since gone down to part time and am able to flex my work schedule around my class schedule.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am a culinary arts major and am thoroughly and am looking forward to applying my passion with food to the world. That said I do with that there were more opportunists for me to learn more advanced aspects of my craft.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: As I said above I would like more opportunists for me to learn more advanced aspects of my craft.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: As with everything things could be improved.

Campus Resources: Computer networking at Perrydale High School was okay. The computer lab computers were basic screens and a computer brain, chairs were ripped though. Had three printers in school, so it was good for the small size. Few network problems. I would say the speed was normal, could of have faster. Their was always laptops when needed, but they were very worn out and had problems with logging in to school system.

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: Their was only one gym but it had all the basic weights needed. Outdated stationary bicycle no one really used. Library was a good place for the children, rather small but due-able. Few selection of books because they were outdated in our one library. Campus activities? Well, there was a baseball field, a track, and a football field in side the track. As for the campus aesthetics, the gender was equally but tended to lean towards females. Sports was a rather popular subject for most students and teachers, which is important but shouldn't have been pushed and looked down upon if not in every sport. Class subjects were good, few teachers really got into what they taught. The ones that were actually excited to talk about it was the best I would say. For the ones that looked like they were just their for a paycheck didn't really explain the topics very well. All the teachers had their favorites and seemed to give up on students when they just needed a little push.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Everything is very convenient. The campus is small enough to make it to class, the classes are excellent, the professors will work around your schedule and every one is there is get a great education.

5 College Junior

Facilities: I believe what sets Linn Benton Community College apart is the fact that the classes are so personal. The professors know your name, your major and a lot about you so they can tailor their teaching style to the individual, not just the curriculum.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The library is a great place to study, the activities center is great to workout in, the layout of the campus is easy to navigate and there are a multitude of campus activities every week so every one can get involved.
