Greek Life: Could be better but I'm not really concerned with greek life and don't really want to be apart of it.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Definitely could have more parties but mainstreet kind of makes up for the lack thereof.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: The sports that you would expect would be big hits, like football and such, aren't as big here. But it makes up for it with the intramural sports like water polo and rugby.

Guys & Girls: Lindenwood is a very diverse campus. I'm not a cliquey person so I'll talk to just about anyone. Everyone looks different and has their own interests.

Local Atmosphere: St. Charles is a great town! It's very safe and comes with everything you need. It's only about 25 miles from St. Louis which is great. Far enough away that everyone feels safe, but close enough that we can experience the night life, go to Cardinals or Blues games whenever we want.

Overall Experience: I am apart of the social work program, an accredited program at Lindenwood. I enjoy all of my professors very much and I know that I can go to them for anything I may need. They are amazing about helping us look into different agencies that may interest us in the future.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I've had many wonderful professors and a few that I refuse to ever take again. The class size is wonderful at Lindenwood. There will never be more than 35 students in a class. It's great for students who need more one on one time with a professor.

4 College Junior

Athletics: I cheer at my school and the experience has been amazing. The crowd involvement makes it very fun to cheer on my teams. The stands are always packed and even when we don't win, we find someway to make it a memorable night on the field.

Campus Housing: There are new and nicer dorms but with the strictness, it's really not worth it to live on campus. Some of the dorms are old and don't even air conditioning.

Campus Strictness: Besides the parking, the security is why I moved off campus. Everyone is treated like criminals. I can't count how many times I got a parking ticket but the nicer car next to mine didn't get one. With Lindenwood's security it's all about what you drive and what your last name is.

Off-Campus Housing: I lived on campus for my first three semesters and I hated it. Some classes were very far to walk to from the dorms and if you drove parking was completely unavailable for residential students. I live off campus now and I love it. It is very close to campus and the commuter parking is much more available.

Scholarships: I dread going over my financial aid each semester. Anytime I have questions I can't seem to get the same answer from any of the financial aid advisors. It's a very frustrating process.

5 College Junior

Diversity: Lindenwood is an extremely diverse campus. When I was a freshman the diversity kind of made me worry. My high school experience did not prepare me for any sort of diverse environment. Attending a diverse university has been one of the best decisions of my life. I've been opened up to so many new and exciting opinions and experiences.

3 College Junior

Majors: I have not had an internship but I do plan on getting one.

4 College Junior

Majors: Applying for my major was very easy. The important criteria was the easiest part. It's all about the impression you make on your professors prior to your interviews. If you show up to class, participate, and take pride in your work, there won't be a problem in getting into your major.

Greek Life: Personally, I am a "non-Greek." Lindenwood's Greek life is pretty small. We have two or three fraternities and sororities. I believe the Greek life would be much more fun and much larger if we had Greek housing. As of now, some Greeks will live together on same floor a dorm, but not everyone fits. The others just live in dorms like any other students. Living in Greek housing is what we all see in the movies and the televisions shows, that's what everyone looks forward to. Without that, students just see it as extra money they don't really need to spend.

Off-Campus Dining: Working on degree online. I have never visited the campus.

Health & Safety: Working on degree online. I have never visited the campus.

College Sophomore

Nightlife: Have never visited St. Charles, I am working on my degree online.

Scholarships: They could be a bit more generous with merit scholarships, or even discounts for military and their dependents.

College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I don't have enough experience to formulate an opinion.

College Sophomore

Diversity: I am working on my Master's online. I have not been on campus.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There is a lot of variety in dining options in the surrounding area. There is a nice balance between local and chain restaurants, variety in the types of restaurants in town, and also varied ranges of cost. Downtown St. Charles has many, many restaurants and is located about 3-5 minutes (driving) from campus.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: The institution does not offer any individual institutional scholarships. There are work-and-learn experiences that somewhat makes up for this. I am a graduate assistant who was lucky to be hired for an assistantship, but it has been a confusing experience. It seems that the offices of Financial Aid, the Business Office, and those who are in charge of Graduate Assistantships are not at all on the same page. Further, it is not clear whether or not additional fees (such as online fees) are covered by GA work.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Greek life doesn't seem to have a huge impact on campus, but is available for students who are interested.
