1 College Junior

Facilities: Everything needs to be updated

Tuition & Financial Aid: THE PRICE OF TUITION SHOULD BE LOWERED ITS NOT WORTH THAT PRICE

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I NEVER TOOK ONLINE CLASSES

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial department has been very good working with me pertaining to the FASFA. There was one time my financial adviser and I went back in forth for one week straight sometimes two times a day for lost/missing paperwork needed from me. They are always there to answer the questions that one might have pertaining to the financial aid process, even if it was completed.

Campus Resources: Our librarian is probably the best person to go to if you are in need of help. He understands what most, if not all what the professors want. He knows exactly were to go if he can't get your material. At most times he is the most popular person on campus. As for the A.C.E. program that is just a deserving of credit as the librarian. They have a variety of professors to assist in your understanding of material.

Campus Resources: As for the computer network we have numerous classrooms with computers. At times the wireless access is non-existent, but that is found in a variety of other colleges as well as businesses. Seeing that one of the acadimics is Computer Science there is a surplus of computers to be used as well has "renting" one from the library if you don't have a personal computer.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Seeing that I have little computer knowledge it has been a challenge for me. As each class goes by I learn computer experience too. At times it takes me longer then the average computer literate student to succeed in the what we call hy-bred classes. Seeing that the hy-bred classes consist of half class work and half computer work, breaks up the process of learning . I like the fact too, that the professor gets back to you individually not addressing the whole class.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I come the rely on the professors to help in all areas of my studies. As of now most have come to my aide. With having ADHD, at times is hard to comprehend what is expected and most of the times the professor have been accommadating towards my graduating goals.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: There are a variety of counselors within each of the desired academics. The counselor within the Mortuary Science program has functions pertaining to our studies. At least four times a year there are job prospects or internships that are advertised for the students.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: I am a forty-three year old woman, with ADHD, who after 21 years out of school decided to continue my education; so for that I have nothing to compare to. I was greatly impressed that there was a college within driving range pertaining to Mortuary Science. I do feel that there are some classes that are unnecessary to participate in pertaining to the Mortuary Science program. Lincoln College of New England has a(n) A.C.E. program where the students can go and receive help from teachers of all academics.

Student Body: African Americans seem to dominate Lincoln College of New England. There are the usual individuals that take going to college an inconveince to their life. Then there are the students that have realized that the only way to get ahead is to extend themselves and put all that they have into learning. It seems that most professors want to have their students achieve the goals that the students set forth. Since continuing my education at Lincoln College of New England, it is amazing on how prominent the Mortuary Science program is, and how diverse the ages of students in said program, the ages range from 18 years of age to 71 year olds.

4 College Junior

Career Services: It is always known that even in the future I will always be helped.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I feel like my teachers are always there for me if I need it and also that they do love what they are doing.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I feel like I have learned so much in just five months.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: the teachers and staff are all very good at scheduling classes that are easy to work with.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Even though I have never taken one I know people that have and they enjoy it very much.

4 College Junior

Facilities: It is a very warm place to be and i enjoy being there all the time.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Everything about the school I love I just think I would enjoy being farther away from home.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Everyone on my campus is very welcoming and friendly.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: I love my campus and couldn't ask for a better one.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Sometimes the wifi and printers are not working properly.

College Senior

Campus Resources: The only Campus Resources that I can speak to is the library. I use the library online, from time to time. However I find that online library difficult to use and prefer to use an internet search to find resources.

College Senior

Campus Resources: I am an online student and it would not be appropriate to review on campus services.

College Senior

Career Services: To rate the career services at Lincoln College at this time would be unfair. I am not currently involved with them at this time.

Online Courses: The reason for my "its great" rating is due to the fact that I love the online class option vs a traditional classroom setting. My online classes last five weeks each and are intensive. Each week we have multiple discussion board posts that we need to make that include responses to our peers' posts. These are sometimes really good discussions and other times they are a waste of time. It all depends on what kind of students are in the class. For classes that have students who put responses like "Oh what a great post!" or "I found your post really informative." and do not give reasons as to why or post some kind of thought provoking comment or question, is essentially a waste of time, with minimal effort given by the poster. Professor student relationships are sometimes really good or really bad. It depends on how much effort the student and professor are putting into the class. Peer-to-peer interaction is limited mostly to the discussion board. Students do not really seek each other out through email or other means to ask questions. I have come across one other student, who is enrolled in the same program I am, that I communicate with regularly about classes and life, both via texts and email.
