3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: It is a small town called San Dimas. There are sometimes activities and things to do, but there could be more. The college is not exactly in the town. We are surrounded by residences, a hospital and a middle school. It is a little bit of a drive, but Los Angeles has things to do such as major league sports, concerts and many other things.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: San Dimas is a very sweet residential town and has almost everything one needs. There's a cute shopping area downtown, and plenty of businesses to apply to for jobs. Also, within an hour you can be at either the beach or Disneyland!

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: San Dimas is a small, quiet town with quite a few interesting areas nearby. It has some strict traffic enforcement by roaming police, but for the most part is crime-free. It is close to Los Angeles (~1 hour) which contains all sorts of attractions, activities, cultural events, shopping, and sports/recreation. Even better is that it is close to Disneyland (~35 min away).

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: We have a lot of food and shopping places near by. We also have easy access to the freeway to go elsewhere.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Exciting If You Have Transportation – I'd say that the area and neighborhood is not that exciting. However, if you can find transportation, there are a lot of fun places nearby. Disneyland, hiking trails, raging waters, shopping malls, movie theaters, and the beach, are all within half an hour to an hour of driving distance. That really is not much driving if you live in SoCal.
