3 College Freshman

Majors: I am a Heath Promotions Major, I love learning about heath and how to prevent diseases. I love learning especially if it part of health. There are a lot of job opportunities for my career. for my degree I could work in many places, such as hospitals, cliques, retirement homes, etc.,

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: Liberty is a dry campus, so I've never seen drugs or alcohol on campus. However, if you want to find it, it's easy to off campus or on another nearby college campus.

4 College Junior

Computers: Many Macs are available, in addition to PCs. All are loaded with the necessary Adobe software for success. However, many of the computers are in classroom labs, making them only available during the night and other off-hours.

Academics: Overall, the faculty makes the program as successful as it is. I love the professors, and, overall, they are passionate about what they teach. Also, they listen to the students, working to adapt the cirriculum. Many of the classes tie in real-world campaigns and projects, making students' work valuable.

Scholarships: Liberty is plan expensive. They'll give you scholarships then bump up tuition.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: It is a pretty drug safe campus, however, there is a drug scene that not a lot of people know about.

Campus Strictness: Our campus has some strict rules that I don’t like. The first rule is curfew. I dislike curfew because I am an adult, and I feel that I don’t need to be told when to be in my dorm. Also our resident assistants can be strict as well. If for some reason we don’t obey the rules the resident assistants will quickly fine us students.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Our athletic reams are very competitive and I enjoy attending the athletic games. Some athletes are helpful towards our community on and off campus.

4 College Sophomore

Transportation: They are usually on time. Sometimes early. The buses are nice and clean. Drivers are friendly.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: The diversity on the campus is great. Yes where there are about 70% Caucasian that attend our school, we mix and mingle very well with each other. They also have a Multi-Cultural Enrichment center where they celebrate different cultures each month and celebrate their existence.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: Public transportation to and fro the campus is fairly decent. The only downfall to the buses are that people who leave on East Campus have to take the 72 bus all the way to Green Hall to catch the 71 bus to Demoss where all classes are held. Also the 4F bus runs very slowly so most days I have to walk myself to Wal-Mart.

4 College Freshman

Campus Dining: The food on campus is fairly delicious. There are multiple places that allow us to have a variety of food and different tastes, but the only inconvenience is that the lines at most spots on campus are fairly long; therefore, we have to spend money on food rather than use our swipes that we paid for each semester.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: You'll find that that the boys and girls that attend Liberty University are Godly and respectful to each other. Chivalry is seen all over the campus by the men. On a bus, men would allow the woman to sit down when they have to stand. From personal experience, when it was pouring raining outside, a boy came and placed an umbrella over my head just to keep me from getting wet. Therefore, the male and female existence at Liberty University is excellence.

Majors: Being in the psychology program is challenging, because the workload can be quite heavy and overwhelming if you allow yourself to get behind in work. What I think is most unique about the psych program is that they have what is called PsyComm, as known as the Psychology Community. This club brings together all psych majors at Liberty and allows them to be open-minded about where they want to take their degree in the future. It also gives opportunity to meet new people. Internships are absolutely required for psychology majors. I haven't done my internship yet, but I am so excited to do it within the next two years. It's best to look ahead of time for counseling businesses that accept interns, then go from there. Liberty gives many opportunities to finding internship programs that is of interest to that individual, which also makes finding a job later on much easier.

Majors: I have thoroughly enjoyed the psychology program at Liberty. The classes are wonderful, but also informative and thought-provoking. When I started as a freshman at Liberty I told my parents I would not be a psych major, but my whole perspective on the subject changed after taking my first psych class. I would most definitely do it over again if I had to. I hope to earn my master's degree after I finish my undergrad. My career goal would be to enter into the crisis counseling field; I would also love to do premarital counseling and also maybe some marriage counseling.

Majors: Getting into the psychology program was not difficult, there was no special process to getting in. I have only taken a few psychology courses so far but I have loved being involved in the program. I recently declared my major last semester, and there are no essays or certain requirements for admission.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: We have a very strict policy against drugs and alcohol. It's definitely possible to find groups of kids on campus that partake in those activities but overall, it's a very clean campus with as much restriction on those things as possible.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: I enjoy all of the dining options that we have on campus now. The only thing I would change is maybe adding another restaurant style option and having more options open later at night on campus because most options close pretty early and then it's hard to get food after that.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: While I do not drive a car at school many of my friends do not like the school's parking system. Each semester the areas where students can park can be switched around, sometimes far from the dorm. Also, there has been a lot of construction on campus, taking away a lot of parking spots. It can be rough to have on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: For the most part, school policies are moderately strict. On campus drinking/drugs and sexual activity are extremely frowned upon. Also, students are held accountable for the actions of their friends and roomates. If you have knowledge of illegal activity and say nothing about it, you can get into as much trouble as well. My advice would be to know what the school is strict on before to choose to attend.

Diversity: Being a religious school, the majority of students have Christian beliefs. Besides the religious similarities, the school is diverse in its student body. We have students from all over the US and from places such as Canada, Latin America and Asia. There is also a decent mix of political views, although most students are conservatives. This school has a good mix of people from different economic backgrounds and social environments.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Being in Virginia, the weather can range from sunny to snowy during the school year. During the fall, the first three months are very warm and sunny, but soon changes to cold and wet once November hits. Regardless, my school's student body always finds ways to have fun in these conditions, such as giant snowball fights and football in the rain.

5 College Senior

Athletics: Games are known for excitement. The team spirit is very alive

4 College Senior

Campus Strictness: Faculty staff are very personal and seem genuinely concerned for their students

3 College Junior

Majors: I was a nursing major. The program is very competitive. As long as you are very dedicated to your school work then you will do fine. The teachers are always there to help at their offices. There is also study groups and tutors to help in studying.
