Athletics: Sports are one of the highlights of our university. We are the Flames Nation, and it's been said that Liberty University has one of the most passionate fan bases of any academic institution. Baseball, football, soccer, tennis, softball, wrestling, basketball, intramurals...you can't get away from the sports scene here!

Parking: Parking on campus has it's ups and downs. Since the majority of the student body are resident students, their parking arrangements rarely conflict with the commuter and faculty. However, parking is currently challenging, and for commuters and those paying less or nothing for parking, at least 15 minutes is a good time to arrive prior to classes. Fortunately, we are in the midst of building a new parking garage designed to drastically reduce the scarcity of local parking.

Guys & Girls: We are an insanely attractive bunch of students. Guys are generally handsome, friendly, gentlemanly, and well-dressed, while the girls are in-fashion, big-eyed, and sweet. Our social lives are vibrant due to the many social activities on campus.

Campus Housing: There is a fairly expansive variety of housing options on campus. Students can choose from traditional hall-style residence halls or more contemporary apartment-style buildings. Amenities are nice, sometimes basic, but certainly manageable. While I personally am a commuter student and do not live in the dorms, I have visited multiple friends in several different residence hall set-ups and have been impressed with the arrangements.

Majors: The school presented options for our internship if we didn't have one that qualified. The pay of internship depended on the leadership of your internship. I'm currently a grad student and hold a position in my chosen field of study.

Drug Safety: The character of the student body is focused on living a life that upholds moral standards of the Bible. There's no room for drugs to be a part of our life.

Academics: During my undergrad, the youth ministry degree was always we received from others. We had the occasional joke said to from the pastoral majors, maybe because we weren't required to take as many greek or hebrew classes.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: I was strengthened and encouraged through every trial I had at Liberty. They well experienced professors who don't puff up reality, but prepare their students to be challenged in life when they graduate.

Majors: I did not encounter any difficulties or challenges getting into the program I am in. The most important criteria for admission, in my opinion, is the pastoral reference. The application process is not abnormal in my opinion. It is a matter of receiving backing from your local pastor. This is something that needs to be prayed about before applying to be a student. LBTS (Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary) is great because they allow females to apply and be students. You do not have to be a pastoral student to be a part of LBTS.

Majors: I totally enjoy LUO and the Seminary program. I am taking a masters in Divinity in Chaplaincy and so far I love it. The work is hard and it is reading intensive, some classes writing intensive or even both reading and writing intensive. The curriculum is interesting and the teachers are great so far. I believe that the possibilities are endless.

Facilities: Liberty University is constantly expanding as they grow. They are currently building a brand new (huge) library. There are student centers and a clubhouse for food, games, and other activities. The athletic center is fairly big as well.

Athletics: Liberty University is a D1 school, so sports are pretty big, especially football. There is also incredible school spirit there!

5 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Liberty University is a Christian University, so the men and women of this school are very modest and respectful. Everyone dresses nicely; they are very friendly and considerate. I find it to be more UNcommon if someone does not open the door for someone else. The men are also gentlemen, opening the door for girls and offering up their bus seat. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

Transportation: Liberty University has buses that run all over the campus and also into town until 2:00am

3 College Junior

Majors: I am a graduate Accounting major and I have been experiencing obstacles in finding an internship. I want to have the experience of at but have not been successful in my search.

5 College Sophomore

Computers: Great speed and Internet connection. The computers have great programming.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Restaurants give us discounts with our student I'd card.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I received a fair amount of scholarships from my school. It's not a to but it does help.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: The parking is all over the place. It can be frustrating because the parking lots are in unconvienient places on campus.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: There are lots of places to eat and lots of places to explore. There are a few clubs, but you have to be 21 to get into all of them. I know there are parties around, but I do not take part, and it's pretty secretive.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: LUPD (Liberty U. Police Department) is constantly around and is willing is assist students in everything, whether it be directing them somewhere or escorting them back to their dorms late at night.

1 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Since my college, Liberty University, is a Christian school, the majority of the kids that attend are Christian and do not take part in those activities. Obviously, there are a couple kids that do, but it's barely noticeable.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The workload at my school is pretty heavy. I would not consider the work to be very hard, but the amount of work us students get is sometimes too much. The teachers are great and have great patience with students. The teachers make the classes more enjoyable. However every student must keep a positive attitude to succeed.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: Drugs are against Liberty's policies and they are enforced well.

4 College Freshman

Majors: No, I have not had an internship. As a nursing student, I will be getting plenty of clinical experience starting in my sophomore year. Upon graduation, I plan to apply for a job as an RN.
