Weather: It rains hear a lot! They don't call this drenchburg for no reason!

Academics: Although the workload is very heavy, this major at this school is amazing because it is a great program. It really prepares you to be a great nurse and you are guaranteed job when you graduate.

Campus Dining: Many people complain about the "Rot" (Liberty's main dining hall), but I the food there is constantly improving and there are many options. It is basically an all you can eat buffet with your choice of pizza, pasta, burritos, main dish meals, gluten free/healthy meals, sandwiches, and burgers. The best part about Liberty is that if you don't want to eat at the Rot there are options such as the bistro (flatbread/sandwiches), Chick-fil-a, and sub connection (like a Subway).

Off-Campus Housing: This fall is going to be my first semester living off campus and from what I can tell it has only been good. There are many apartments and houses for rent in the area and many of them have good landlords. One con is that it is hard to find landlords in lynchburg that will take more than 3 non-related people for one house/apartment. However I will legally be living with 5 other guys this semester. The only advice I have is do not go to Brownstone to find a place to live.

Transportation: Buses, Buses, and More Buses – There are always buses running on campus and some even go off. There are also cars you can rent. There is a tunnel and pedestrian bridge for easy access to stores across Wards rd. Very good transportation, affordable, and easily accessed.

Campus Housing: Huge Variety – Liberty's campus has a lot of variety when it comes to dorms. There are regular dorms, apartments, and quads all on campus. There are many fun things to do too such as snow flex (year round artificial ski slope) sports, disc golf, swimming, exercising, ping pong, etc. Liberty has a bright and fun atmosphere that doesn't revolve around drinking. God and spiritual growth is the center of Liberty. Constant activities and concerts are also going on around campus.

Guys & Girls: Like any other school bonding with peers of like-mind can help you to get through the classes, especially when there is a tough subject.

Transportation: The buses at Liberty University are very convenient!

5 College Sophomore

Majors: Liberty has every major you can think of and the quality of education for all majors is excellent!!

3 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather there is pretty nice. My only complaint is that it sometimes rains quit a bit. If you like bipolar weather Liberty is the place for you!!

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The dorms a great because you get to pick exactly where you want to live and the social environment is amazing. People are always hanging out in each other rooms.

5 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: There are a wide variety of guys at Liberty. The girls are extremely attractive, even when they are not trying to be. They are from all over the pace which makes them seem extremely different.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I have heard that it is pretty good. Do not know for sure because I have never lived off-campus

5 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The Food on campus is extremely good. No complaints!!

4 College Junior

Scholarships: Financial Aid is easy to access all forms and links and Liberty is really good about remindeing you to complete it.

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: There are so many choices being a college town from coffee shops to sit down resuraunts like Chilis or Applebees and there are also many mom and pop places to make you feel like home.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I have found the rental process for off campus easy and affordable. Parking can be a hassle if you have more than 2 people per apartment. Being in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains there is a lot of room and you do not feel clostrophibic.

4 College Junior

Athletics: Liberty University has a variety of Althletics to choose from. Liberty values the importance of althletics that contribute to the person as a whole mind, body and spirit. The excitement of the spirit seen on campus is amazing.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Being a Chrisitan University, it is pretty strict with their policies from visiting opposite gender dorm's to curfew. They have a high standard all the way around but you know this prior to committing the college so it should not be a surprise to anyone who goes here.

4 College Junior

Athletics: Sports are really popluar here. We are a division 1 school and have a plethera of sports which includes 8 NCAA sports for boys and 10 NCAA sports for girls as well as 20 club sports!

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Since this is the largest Christian university in the world, you will find all sorts of personalities for the girls and the guys. The dress code is conserative so you won't find girls walking around scantly dressed. There is so much social life on campus that it is hard to pick and choose what you would like to do. You will never get bored on campus unless you decide to lock yourself in your dorm room and be a hermit.

4 College Junior

Majors: I had no problems getting into my program of study.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: I recieved a fair amount of financial aid. The only drawback for me was having to go back and recheck my financial aid once or twice a week to make sure that I everything was being added to my account.

Academics: I like it so far with Liberty University Online. The admissions, student services, and financial aid departments have been very helpful. The classes are challenging but rewarding because every subject is being taught from a Christian worldview. Must stay on top of your financial aid to be sure you are getting your full package. Must be disciplined in courses because you could easily fall behind. Overall a great school!
