Campus Dining: Overall, the food is good. As I haven't been exposed to really any other college cafeteria, I don't have much of a reference point (and, you have to admit, it's pretty hard to beat Mom's cooking). There is a large variety of food, both within the main dining hall and at other various spots around campus, and for the most part it is fresh and appetizing. I am excited that they are working on developing healthier, more allergy-sensitive menus, and while the ingredients used are not first-class, finding a meal for a health-conscious person is not an enormous challenge.

Health & Safety: I've never felt unsafe at liberty but then again not a lot of bad things happen there

5 College Junior

Facilities: It is a very compact university, the buildings are great especially the new ones, cant wait for the library to be built

3 College Junior

Weather: It has its days, it rains some but its the most snow i've seen. other than that its pretty nice.

Athletics: I'm a huge baseball fan and the new field is amazing, let alone the baseball teams skill is off the charts

Academics: This school is the best school i've ever been to. The professors actually care about you and the things you learn are so relative to your life. The speakers that come in every week blow me away. Great school

Majors: SO happy that I chose nursing at this university. The program is great and I know it will guarantee me a job once I graduate. Staff is amazing and helpful. It's a lot of work, but o so worth it!

Academics: Great academics at Liberty University. They work you hard enough but still give you a workload that allows you to still have fun.

Off-Campus Dining: There are many cool places to eat around here and it really is not that expensive. It's a real college town

5 College Sophomore

Academics: Although the workload is very heavy, this major at this school is amazing because it is a great program. It really prepares you to be a great nurse and you are guaranteed job when you graduate.

Campus Dining: Many people complain about the "Rot" (Liberty's main dining hall), but I the food there is constantly improving and there are many options. It is basically an all you can eat buffet with your choice of pizza, pasta, burritos, main dish meals, gluten free/healthy meals, sandwiches, and burgers. The best part about Liberty is that if you don't want to eat at the Rot there are options such as the bistro (flatbread/sandwiches), Chick-fil-a, and sub connection (like a Subway).

Off-Campus Housing: This fall is going to be my first semester living off campus and from what I can tell it has only been good. There are many apartments and houses for rent in the area and many of them have good landlords. One con is that it is hard to find landlords in lynchburg that will take more than 3 non-related people for one house/apartment. However I will legally be living with 5 other guys this semester. The only advice I have is do not go to Brownstone to find a place to live.

Transportation: Buses, Buses, and More Buses – There are always buses running on campus and some even go off. There are also cars you can rent. There is a tunnel and pedestrian bridge for easy access to stores across Wards rd. Very good transportation, affordable, and easily accessed.

Campus Housing: Huge Variety – Liberty's campus has a lot of variety when it comes to dorms. There are regular dorms, apartments, and quads all on campus. There are many fun things to do too such as snow flex (year round artificial ski slope) sports, disc golf, swimming, exercising, ping pong, etc. Liberty has a bright and fun atmosphere that doesn't revolve around drinking. God and spiritual growth is the center of Liberty. Constant activities and concerts are also going on around campus.
