Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of restaurants (most are fast food), coffee & ice cream places near campus. Liberty students get awesome discounts in a ton of places in Lynchburg though! There are a few nice places but not a huge variety for classy food. Who has money for that in college anyway though? :)

Athletics: Liberty is a Division One school for sports, and the whole school pretty much is full of team spirit. They also have lots of club sports for those of us who don't have the time (or the talent) to play for the school teams :)
There's a huge gym near the front of the school and its a really nice facility. There are also soccer, baseball, basketball, paintball, tennis, and volleyball courts in various places around campus.

Campus Housing: One thing that's nice about Liberty housing is it has a wide range of options. You have big three person rooms on a hall with communal bathrooms, to two room sweets on eat campus and pretty much everything in between. Plus all dorms are really clean and well kept!

Athletics: Liberty's sports are huge, the just need to invest more money into the school so they can start competing at the top level.

Campus Dining: The dinning places are very good, if you are new student after a while they get old.

Scholarships: I received a good amount of money, however the school is expansive. maybe they could find a way how to help students get more scholarships. Missionary kids need to be helped more, Liberty only helps the Southern Mission Board. They should try to help all the missionaries, cause so many of them cannot afford to pay collage fees. They are busy working for the Lord.

Off-Campus Dining: Food is available nearby at every locale and type, just for your enjoyment and access.

Campus Strictness: The need to remain an example to others, trustworthy, honest, persevering, faithful, determined and concerned for the welfare of others over the welbeing of self, even in comforting the unlovely, must remain the priority while a student at Liberty University, for the praise and glory of God Almighty.

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: There are not any drugs on Liberty University's campus

Local Atmosphere: Liberty's campus is alright. But when it comes to doing things off campus, it can be a pain because there is not much around here to do. Most people just have home gatherings.

Off-Campus Housing: Lynchburg has great choices. some can be a little pricy but moving off is well worth it. Liberty would rather you live with people than by yourselves. But overall its good quality. The only problem is, you have to be 21 years old to move off.

Facilities: Liberty University has a campus that fits everyone's style. The new Library has a new dinning hall and new work areas. It also has a amazing view to a lake that will shortly be finished.

3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: There are multiple places to get food on campus and there are plenty of places off campus to use your flames cash. I really enjoy the variety although the food at the main dining hall is not always the best.

Health & Safety: I have never felt unsafe at Liberty University. There is plenty of lighting and LUPD are almost always around, they are constantly on patrol.

3 College Freshman

Weather: It is almost always raining. Lynchburg is often called drench burg. Classes will hardly ever get cancelled for winter weather, it really has to be a lot of bad weather or else they will just shot down the school for a couple of hours.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: It is really easy to get scholarships, they offer a great variety. The people at Liberty's office were extremely helpful.

4 College Freshman

Academics: There are some great professors here. Make sure you look at ratemyprofessor.com or ask a current student about what professors to take though, you dont want to end up with an awful professor. The curriculum is the same as state schools except there are required Bible classes, but theyre not bad and very interesting. Registration is easy to do and online. The workload is typical for a college, but there is free tutoring and a writing workshop provided if needed.

5 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: There is a lot of diversity on this campus. There are so many international students, so there are many races and ethnic backgrounds. There are city folk here, and then the country folk too. Theres a wide variety, we have people from Canada to Florida, from New York to California. The students are known to be really good looking here, minus a few exceptions. People have their own style, but you can tell the majors apart: for instance, everyone knows what worship majors look like by their dress. While there is diversity in clothing, there are some people who dress alike.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: If you're not in dress code, you will be sent back to your dorm to change plus get a rep. Although some people tend to get away with dress code violations. If your room is messy, you will get a warning. If you get up to 7 warnings, it becomes a rep, which means you have to pay a fine.

2 College Junior

Parking: The parking lot is usually always full and I think there are too many people who have cars on campus.

4 College Freshman

Academics: Liberty's professors are excellent. If you ever need extra help or are going through a hard time in your personal or academic life, they are there to help and and pray for you. Most of the professors are very understanding and are always looking out for their students.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Lynchburg is not the biggest city but it is perfect for college students. There are plenty of employment opportunities and housing for students. Liberty has many sports facilities available and has activities going on all the time. You will rarely be bored on this campus.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: If I had to recommend one place to live on campus it would be the Circle- Main. When I imagined what college would be like before I came I imagined it like how the Circle is. The rooms are tight with three people per a room but it is worth it. It is a lot easier to form friendships and socialize on the Circle than the Annex or East.

4 College Freshman

Weather: Although it does rain a lot in Lynchburg, it does not affect the campus experience. The beautiful days here in the mountains make up for the messy days.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There are many houses/apartments posted on the Liberty University apartment finder page. There are a lot of places that are for a reasonable price. There are many places that are close to campus for students to reside. Freshmen and Sophomores usually tend to live on campus. Students normally move off for Junior year, if not then their Senior year.
