5 College Freshman

Facilities: The Student facilities at Liberty University are excellent! The student union (the Tilley) is modern and newly renovated. The Tilley has everything from a two floor gym (with an indoor pool) to a Chic-Fil-A. I really think Liberty put a lot of time and expense in their facilities. As there are places everywhere to sit and study. It was very easy to find a place to charge my laptop, and just hang around. I enjoy the amount of events the center for Student Activities put together, including things such as block parties, concerts, horse back riding, and even missions! Did I mention we have snowflex?!

Scholarships: My Financial Aid processes at Liberty University, was a bit of a hassle, I must admit. It seemed as though I was redirected to a different department almost every call, all to find the person I contacted in the first place was who needed. While several forms were lost, I do feel each member of the Financial Aid team were more than willing to go out their way to get the job done.

Parking: Parking on campus might lean more toward the expensive side, and can get a little out of control when trying to find a space. However, I do believe Liberty tries there best to maintain a sense of order and fairness

4 College Freshman

Campus Dining: There are many options to choose from around campus.

5 College Junior

Majors: I am very happy with the major that I have chosen and I love the fact that I was given a lot of choices on different cognates to chose from.

4 College Junior

Weather: Lynchburg is known as Drenchburg. The weather is bipolar and rains often. It might be rainy one minute and all of a sudden sunny the next. Snow is rather rare.

4 College Junior

Majors: I'm satisfied with my major. Finding a job won't be difficult but the pay might not be as much.

5 College Junior

Majors: I love it at Liberty University and my major is alot of fun.

4 College Junior

Majors: Internships are pretty easy to find in churches because they are always looking for interns.

4 College Junior

Majors: Declaring a major in worship studies was relatively easy.

4 College Junior

Computers: The computers at Liberty University are fast and for the most part always available.

1 College Senior

Majors: Started out alright, but no one seems to give you all the information up front when your an online student. They assume you already know all that you need to know.

1 College Senior

Scholarships: I never get to talk to anyone who acts like they know what they are doing.

4 College Sophomore

Transportation: The cost for bus fee is $80 a semester. It is very convenient and the buses are always clean and drivers are nice. The transportation system is local and a great need to travel on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: Getting into Speech Coms was very easy. I had no challenges. The most important criteria for admission would be your grades. It has a normal application process. There are no tips I can offer for admission.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I am very happy, and if I could do it all over again I would. My career goals are to work in Speech Coms, and my concerns are if I will get hired.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I do enjoy it, because it is what I like. It is not hard, the major I am in, and the school facilities are topnotch.

College Sophomore

Majors: I have not had an internship yet, but I will in the future since it is required

1 College Senior

Nightlife: There is no clubs here. I am very great full for it!

4 College Senior

Transportation: Transportation from what I hear is really good. Bus comes around frequently.

5 College Junior

Facilities: Liberty University has been very helpful in ever aspect of my journey to a higher education.

Off-Campus Dining: Off campus dining is okay. Most places in Lynchburg are closed by 9:30 which means there are few dining options after that time. Cookout is a good late night spot since it does not close till 4am which makes it a hot spot at night. There restaurants in Lynchburg are surprisingly pretty good, rarely will you find a restaurant you dislike.

Drug Safety: Drugs and Alcohol are not allowed on campus at all. RA's are strict and if a student is caught on or off campus with either, their is a high chance of being expelled. Sometimes empathy is given but a second strike at Liberty is a strike out for sure.

Campus Housing: Dorms at Liberty University aren't based on class level like freshman or Seniors. Liberty is a proud Christian university that prides on its beliefs. Originally when I arrived I hated the school, I thought the rules were outrageous. Over my next four years I will grow to love the school. The funny thing is so many people transfer out after freshman year but then miss the school and end up coming back. The school is constantly expanding and support for Athletics as well other extracurricular activities is rival to none. Small town which can be many times boring but you learn to enjoy as crazy as it may sound. Liberty is a relatively young University therefore facilities are rather state of art, including Athletic facilities, classrooms, library and dorms are very much up to date. Partying is not allowed at Liberty, but if you truly looked for it you can sneak in a little just don't get caught.
