Local Atmosphere: Lynchburg is a nice place to live and there are definitely things to do , like going to the dollar theater , bowling, snowboarding/skiing and salsa dancing on Friday nights but the only down fall is that many of these places do not stay open very late.

Athletics: I think the school is very involved with athletics but they are not obssesed.

4 College Junior

Academics: There are not many Spanish majors in my school. I wish there were more students in my major. My professors are amazing. They care for their students and strive to see them succeed.

Guys & Girls: The boys are respectful and are gentleman. The girls are sweet and willing to help anyone in need.

3 College Junior

Parking: The parking on campus is terrible. you are given a designated parking space for the semester but the spot is far from where classes are held.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Facilities are very good. Our fitness center is state-of-the-art and has enough equipment for whatever workout you want. The student facilities are also a popular hangout spot with student concerts every few weeks.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Off campus dining I believe is very good. There are a lot of different fast food options around the Liberty Campus. From McDonalds and Wendy's to Chipolte and Sheetz. There is a little something of everyone's own tastes.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: There is really no drug scene at Liberty University. While I cannot say for sure no one is using, it is something that is not overtly observable.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Campus Facilities are very nice: a main cafeteria, several academic buildings, a state of the art gym and more. Students make extensive use of these facilities and enjoy using them.

Majors: I enjoy being a ministry major very much. As a campus we attend convocation 3 days a week, and when there is no convocation then the ministry students have their own convocation. This coming year I will begin to participate in an internship program and work in an area church.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I have not encountered any difficulties getting into ministry at Liberty, and there are no abnormal application processes.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I plan to be involved in an internship this coming year, but have not done one yet.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Even though Liberty is a Christian university, drugs and alcohol are still being used by students. I feel there is less peer pressure and visibility around campus as there might be at other universities. Enforcement by the university is very good.

Majors: I would definitely choose Liberty University again. I love ministry and Liberty offers what I consider to be the very best education in a Christian setting that I could find. My goals are to become a pastor and church planter, and to be involved in missions around the world. I believe that with a degree from Liberty my options upon graduation will be wide open.

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: With what I've seen and heard, there is no drug and alcohol visibility, usage, peer pressure, parties that are harmful, etc. Liberty University is I believe a drug-alcohol free school.

5 College Junior

Academics: I am studying for Religion and Psychology in Liberty University. The workload is challenging but the faculty is there to help the student. Internship/job opportunities in LU is of excellent quality. I haven't participated in it yet but two business majors applied their skills in Asia with the Center for Global Engagement.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I am sure around Liberty University there are good quality of off-campus housing; however, I am not that familiar with it.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Most restaurants around Liberty University have a student discount. The variety of places are near by unless you decide on driving farther from the school. However, there are dining services on campus. There is one restaurant called "Docs Diner."

5 College Junior

Guys & Girls: In Liberty University, guys and girls dress with modesty. LU challenges all students in all their abilities in order to train them to be true champions in every area of life. Students respect their peers; and their school spirit, enthusiasm, strong character and motivation continue to strengthen LU's asset.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academics: Liberty University has a wide variety of academic programs available. There is a law school, a nursing school, a seminary, a business school, and several other areas from which to choose. The registration process and financial aid process are both amazing. The advisers are so friendly and helpful. They try to make your time there as pleasant as possible. Most of the professors are wonderful as well. They do want you to get an education and they are rated fairly high and their workload reflects that.

4 Recent Alumnus

Majors: As a religious education major, I feel I made the right decision for me. I loved all of my classes and feel that I have grown, but I am not exactly sure how I am going to use this degree. I am currently employed as a youth pastor and use it there, but I feel like it is going to move me from my current employment.

4 Recent Alumnus

Majors: I love the program I am in. It is interesting and very engaging. It has caused me to reflect on many aspects of our American culture as well as other cultures in the world. The workload is sometimes heavy and requires a great deal of thought. Everything is not black & white. It is very subjective.

4 Recent Alumnus

Majors: The process of getting into my Master of Religious Education was relatively easy. My Bachelor degree was obtained from Liberty as well, and it was in English and Religion. There is a minimum GPA, but mine was higher. The hardest part was deciding where to place my focus within the degree.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: The food is pretty good, but the main dining hall is a 20 minute walk across campus from my dorm and it is only open at certain times of the day.

3 College Junior

Parking: I don't have a car, so this really doesn't apply to me.
