Off-Campus Dining: There are endless options for eating off-campus in the greater Lynchburg area. Lots of chain restaurants (Panera, Texas Roadhouse, Sonic, Olive Garden, Golden Corral, Chick-fil-a, etc) and a variety of locally owned places as well. Definitely lots of places to choose from!

Campus Housing: I lived on east campus my freshman year, and the apartment style living was really nice. I only had to share a room with one person, and we had a living area, our own bathroom and kitchen and plenty of room. We also had our own washer and dryer so we didn't have to tote laundry around, which was really great!

Majors: Being in the athletic training program is wonderful. You truly learn a lot and are able to practice what you learn in the clinical sites. The workload does get hard during the junior year but just managing your time will make it easier

Majors: I have learned a lot and would just try to learn more

Drug Safety: it is very to hard to use drugs on campus they are not allowed and very serious penalty for using them

3 College Freshman

Facilities: The facilities are alright here at Liberty. There isn't much to do for groups of friends. Some of the only options are to go to the tilly or maybe snowflex.

Facilities: Liberty's facilities are pretty good here. I am exited to see the new Library come up, until then, the Library will continue to struggle.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The housing process is somewhat rigorous, it is difficult to find the right dorm due to distance and facilities.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: "The Liberty Way" code of ethics is the strictest I've ever seen. Perfect for an evangelical campus - keeps our focus on Christ! :)

Academics: Online courses are extremely demanding, as they are all only 8-weeks long. Beats prior undergrad on-campus academically.

Majors: Cinematic Arts is a great program, especially the opportunities for students. You will work & have experience on a feature film set & I have already been getting film jobs over the summer. Use your time in this program wisely, and you'll be set for a film career!

Parking: I have morning classes every semester, and I paid extra to have a closer parking spot, but I still have to search for a spot & if I'm a few minutes late I may have to park in another parking lot. They do a good job in towing cars that are parked illegally, but students have figured out when the tow trucks go back, and parking gets out of control at North Campus on the weekends (especially with TRBC goers on Sunday)

Majors: The Cinematic Arts program has a more complicated application process, but the staff are easy to talk to and are more than willing to accommodate you. The program is a 2-year program (after you complete all gen-ed requirements), and you must have taken the 3 lower-level 'intro' classes to apply. The application is easy, but you must have a script/story outline (created in the intro to screenwriting class) and be able to tell your story. You will have an interview with the staff, before being accepted.

Nightlife: It's a christian campus. So there is not any parties with alcohol.

Majors: I am very happy with the program. I love it, and would totally do it all over again. My career goals are to be a counselor and work with people who are needing help in depression, suicide, trauma, or anything else. The people I will aim towards are kids, teenagers, and young adults. Also especially women. I don't have a concern. People need help in a lot of places. I will be able to find a job.

3 College Freshman

Majors: At Liberty University, I did not have any trouble getting in. However, you must write an essay on your salvation and testimony. My advice is to be honest in it all.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I have not had an internship yet but will have one. I need it for the degree, but also to see what it is like. I do not want to go into a job head on without seeing more in person what they do. I do not have concerns of finding an internship at this time. Since I am only a freshman, I have not had anything like an apprenticeship or student teaching job.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I love my school a lot. I enjoy the program also. I'm only in my first semester, and working on some subjects mainly just needed to graduate. But I learn from the courses, and the teachers are pretty great. They answer all of my questions; and there is a pretty steady, not bad workload. It's a great school!

Health & Safety: The security services here at Liberty are great. They will help you out anytime you need it as well as give people a ride back to their dorms at night if they are leaving from a long night in the Computer Lab. Since this is a Christian school, I would not try anything like smoking or drinking because that could get students in a lot of trouble.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: Liberty University has its very own Snow-flex which I find pretty cool. There are many students who like to go up to compete in competitions with others as well as just have fun. There are also a couple of museums on campus as well that students can go visit to learn about how Liberty was first originated from to how it has become the world's number one Christian school today.

3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: The places around campus are good, but after you have been here for a while it kinda gets old. When the new Library opens this fall or spring, there will be more places to choose from which show be pretty good.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: There are all kinds of guys here at Liberty, you have your city boys, country boys, and then you have the real classy guys. The girls here at Liberty are very classy too. The all have that taste to dress classy and look good which I find very attractive. Most people, like myself, are Southerners so they way we talk might take a little getting use to.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: The student life at Liberty University is great, there is always something to do and no one could ever be bored from attending this school. The student center here is amazing as well, students can exercise, play basketball and swim or just hangout whenever they get a chance to. While here at Liberty. they make sure that their students are well taken care off, and it is like your home away from home.

4 College Senior

Diversity: There is a fairly sizable population of many different ethnicity groups represented at Liberty University.

3 College Senior

Parking: The parking on campus is generally adequate. However, parking enforcement is very strict and spots are sometimes not easy to come by. Also, if you do not have the best parking zone pass, then walking to class can be inconvenient.
