College Student

Athletics: i do not know how they are really but i do know that the huge football stadium is filled to the brim with people.

College Student

Academics: do not know yet have not started, i do know that they have basically everything under the sun for academics

College Student

Academics: am not in the program yet so i do not know completely

Campus Dining: their dining hall has everything you could possibly want even food for people with allergies

3 College Student

Campus Strictness: You can't wear any shorts or sandals in the class room, only outside of. You have to wear nice clothes or jeans and a shirt.

College Student

Greek Life: I do not recall seeing anything about Greek at my collage.

College Student

Weather: doesn't affect it very much since they have a busing route, so you can pretty much go wherever you would like or need to with no trouble from the weather.

College Student

Majors: I have not started school yet but will be starting at this school Fall of 2014.

College Student

Majors: I have not had an internship yet but would like to experience one. Since my major is dealing with the making of movies, I would like to intern on a movie and get to see and experience how that world operates on a first hand basis.

Local Atmosphere: the atmosphere feels like home even though there are mountains everywhere , i live in Ohio and will be going to collage in Virginia. My collage is on 7,000 acre's and has a lot of things to do like an all year ski and tubing slope, ice skating, football stadium, softball, baseball, rowing, volleyball, pretty much every sport played in America. There is an outlet mall next door, lots of hotels, restaurants, and a movie theater. My collage also had there own police force that patrols around campus 24/7. People around there are very nice and welcoming towards new faces.

Academics: Most Prof. have terminal degrees in their field; very helpful and informative.

Academics: Excellent education! I'm very pleased

Overall Experience: Liberty University Online is an excellent education option for working adults.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: FA department is friendly, helpful and easy to work with

Majors: As an Special Ed major I didn't have to do a special application process when I applied here. It was pretty easy. The only thing is to get to the next gateway you have to take all these tests, have a 3.0 GPA and pay $50 for a background check.

5 College Junior

Majors: Liberty was one of the only Christian colleges I could find with a Special Education degree for undergraduate students. As a special ed major I have to get a 3.0 in all of my classes to meet the requirement for the next gateway to be able to take upper level education classes. It's a lot of work and can be overwhelming. I will be student teaching, I don't think I'll get paid.

Facilities: Liberty has good hang out places. The dining hall is the main place students hang out I don't know why. They have a newly renovated clubhouse with video games and a outdoor heated pool and heated patio. That place is really cool a lot of students hang out there too. Nobody really hangs out at the student union. Another place people hang out is the lounge area in the computer lab, because you can hang out there after curfew.

Computers: The computers in the computer lab at Liberty work good and there are plenty of them, but they are Windows 7 so it's older software. They have several places to print on campus, but it costs too much to print because it adds to your balance which is stupid. I don't think we should have to pay because tuition is so much. The network and internet speed here are terrible. Almost every student has had problems with the internet here. You definitely need your own computer because the computer labs aren't quiet people go there to hang out so it can be really loud if you're trying to study. It would be very beneficial to have your own printer because printing here is so expensive.

Drug Safety: Liberty is a Christian college and they are very strict on drugs and alcohol. You have to sign a contract before you go here that you won't drink while you attend Liberty; even if you're of age. There are huge fines for getting caught with drugs or alcohol. If you're caught with it or it's found in your room you will get written up and possibly expelled.

Scholarships: It took forever to get through the financial aid, they kept requesting more and more documents. I finally get through and I barely get any financial aid besides loans and little things they give everybody. It didn't cover my whole balance and now I can't register for classes next semester. It's sad that even with loans it won't cover my balance. They charge way too much here!

Guys & Girls: At Liberty, there are a lot of country boys. It's very typical to see guys walking around in camo and driving pick up trucks. There are also a lot of athletic guys that wear basketball shorts and T-Shirts. The girls are all pretty fashionable they usually wear the latest trends. Since it's colder up here they usually wear riding boots and infinity scarfs. There's a mixture of country girls and city girls.
