5 College Sophomore

Academics: It is noticeable how much the teachers care about the education their students are getting. I wouldn't won't to be at any other school to get my degree.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: The work load is not bad at all. Residential students have the opportunities to take online classes while taking residential classes to help with their workload. There are plenty of facilities for students to go to to study and plenty of staff to help the students as needed.

5 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Liberty tries their very best to make sure their students are able to attend each semester. They are willing to work with their students.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: The network on campus goes in and out. The availability for computers is sometimes not the greatest due to students sitting at computers and not using them.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Only known parties are off campus. Nightlife on campus isn't as busy as it is during the day but there's always plenty to do.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: There's a dress code so you don't find students dressed inappropriately. A good variety or mix of both guys and girls on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Because of remodeling on campus, dining options were taken away.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: The is always something to do on campus.

Campus Dining: We have a great plan. I have 14 meal swipes a week, which allows me to go to the cafeteria or the bistro, which I can take to go. I also have 50 meal points a semester that I can spend on campus for coffee, sandwiches or other places that we have on campus. I have $200 in Flames Cash. There are a number of approved sites where I can spend my Flames Cash, including Applebee's, Texas Roadhouse and Wendy's.

Health & Safety: Our campus police (LUPD, Loop-D affectionately) are complained as being overbearing because there is nothing to do. Sometimes it's scary walking alone at night, but that's only because it's night, not because we are not well-cared for. There are emergency and non-emergency numbers you can call at any time.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: Liberty pushes their Conservative views very strongly. It would be hard to be a Democrat or a Libertarian on this campus. I would say the same with sexual orientation. There are a number of international students, but they mostly stay on the annex.

Local Atmosphere: There is not much to do around Liberty; however, a lot of restaurants take Flames Cash, which is a part of the meal plan, so I'm able to try a whole bunch of different restaurants.

2 College Sophomore

Weather: It is rainy and windy. If you have to walk more than 5 minutes to class, it is miserable.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Best meaning there are no drugs or alcohol on campus. Those are both against the Liberty Way. People don't talk about partying, drugs or alochol because you could get kicked out. If you don't like drinking, come to Liberty. The rules against drinking and drugs are enforced heavily, even if you are 21.

Scholarships: Financial aid is frustrating. There is not much offered. Try to get any outside schoalrships that you can.

2 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Guys are really weird at Liberty. Genders are very much segregated: guys hang out with guys, girls hang out with girls. There are exceptions; however, that is the general rule. Guys used to have to wear collared shirts to class, but that rule was recently lifted, but most still wear collared shirts and jeans. Liberty is not super trendy as far as clothes go.

2 College Sophomore

Facilities: There aren't very many places for people to hang out. Overall, the campus is gorgeous though. We have a new library coming out next semester that is going to be stunning.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: My only complaint would be that sometimes the internet runs very slowly because of all the people who are using it. The computer lab is always available to print, but sometimes it's hard to find a computer to sit at, but that is very rare. I enjoy having a laptop because sometimes I like to write papers or do things in my room as opposed to going to DeMoss.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: We have put a lot of money into sports arenas and fields. Football is definitely our most popular sport, but the faculty encourages us to go to other games as well.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Liberty University has Godly teachers. The professors love the Lord, are interested in your learning and will meet with you whenever you need to. I've talked to others about their teachers and the amount of time and care put into students at other schools does not compare to those at Liberty. I would do it all over again because I have learned so much. Not only have my classes taught me about biology or history, but my doctrine has been solidified greatly.

4 College Sophomore

Transportation: There are plenty of buses that go until 2 in the morning. You can take them off campus or even just from North campus to Main campus. They're all free. I've never taken a taxi, but I know it costs $10 to go to the airport from Liberty, which is not a bad deal at all.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: At Liberty, you can live at a variety of different types of places. I lived on East last year, which is like an apartment, and the community leaves something to be desired; however, this year I live on the hill and not only is the community between other people much better, but it's close to my classes and to the dining options.

Computers: The technology here is great. The printers are very accessible, even while living at a university dorm that is a few minutes from campus.

2 College Freshman

Nightlife: Not much happens on campus. A few parties here and there, but they're very quiet because parties are not allowed. There isn't much of a bar/club scene because drinking/partying are against the rules.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus police are fantastic. Always around to help.
