4 College Junior

Campus Housing: Other than the old dorms, they are great to live in.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There is a variety of options available with a variety of costs for students who have different financial needs. Many of the LU students choose to live off-campus by their senior year because of the ease of applying for it and getting it approved.

Health & Safety: Other than some creepy Lynchburg people that make their way on campus, it is relatively safe to be on campus during anytime of the day, especially since the LU Police Department is always standing by.

Athletics: The atmosphere is amazing at the athletic events. Sometimes student support for teams can be sparse, but when the team is doing well, then the students will show up in early, wearing red, and being loud. Everybody goes to the football games. More than half the teams at Liberty usually compete well enough to win conference championships every year and advance to NCAA tournaments. It's AWESOME!

Greek Life: There is not Greek life at Liberty.

4 College Senior

Majors: In order to get into the school of government, one must pass their general education requirements and then maintain a fairly decent GPA.

4 College Senior

Majors: The number of majors and their quality are growing. Not quite A+ level, but they are getting there. The online school is a great alternative as well.

5 College Senior

Campus Strictness: Liberty University has a very strict student conduct code that is founded from the Christian principles in which the university was founded upon.

Off-Campus Dining: Besides the fact that everything closes at 10pm, the options and quality of off-campus dining are average. Downtown Lynchburg offers a few nice restaurants.

5 College Senior

Facilities: Liberty is updating all their facilities and adding new buildings. They will look great some day.

5 College Senior

Facilities: Beautiful scenery, a few up and coming traditions, and the new library is amazing.

4 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: Lynchburg's scenery is by far the best. Liberty U is nestled in the mountains of Virginia and the sun sets are so beautiful.

2 College Senior

Campus Dining: My worst complaint about Liberty dining is that offers terrible menus and everything closes way too early. No late night options at all.

3 College Senior

Diversity: Liberty U has a lot of international students who add to the ethnic diversity on campus. A very large majority of the student population is of the Christian religion. Most students come from well-to-do economic backgrounds. The student population is also highly conservative with political beliefs on both social and economic issues. Sexual orientation is strictly heterosexual, as homosexual orientation is not tolerated.

4 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Girls at Liberty U are typically attractive, they dress conservatively, and are more focused on their studies. They are into serious relationships but have very active social lives.

Off-Campus Housing: Living off-campus is more affordable than living on-campus and the options are endless. The only hard part is finding roommates. A lot of area residents are renting out of their own home or other homes so the options are endless and the competition to move students into houses/apartments are fierce. Because of this, prices are extremely affordable. Also, the only other hard part about living off-campus is getting approved to live off-campus by the university.

Campus Housing: For freshmen, I highly recommend living in the Circle dorms; they have the best community. East is more for upper classmen. The new dorms will probably be sweet to live in too, but they cost the most.

Greek Life: Liberty does not have any Greek life so I cannot answer this question.

Athletics: Our football team is gaining attention and will hopefully enter into a bowl series soon. Our baseball team is probably the best team we have, since we have made it into the NCAA championships headed towards the college world series. Our basketball team is not at it's peak even though we made it to the NCAA championship last year with a losing record. Liberty students get into the games, giving the Flames one of the best student sections. Our facilities are top notch for the most part. The swimming pool is not so nice, but the football and baseball stadiums are pretty sweet. Our basketball court is pretty nice too.

Local Atmosphere: There isn't much to do in Lynchburg, especially when Liberty students are not in session. Fortunately, for LU students, sports games and student activities offered through Liberty give the students something to do in this city. Unfortunately, some locals do not like Liberty students, and I don't know why because we are half of Lynchburg's population (exaggerating and guessing). The shopping is not as great as other places, but we do have some good stores, just not an abundance.

Academics: I am a senior at Liberty University Online. The classes are 8 week courses, so it is nice that a person can get their degree quicker than at tradition colleges. Even though it is an online school, an internship is required as part of the major. I think it is fantastic because a person has the opportunity to gain experience in the psychology field.

Academics: I like the variety of courses at Liberty and that I can learn more about the Lord because it is a Christian college.

Majors: I am a Liberty University online senior and I am majoring in Psychology. Going to Liberty university online is fun but it is also challenging because the course curriculum is condensed into 8 week classes. I always tell people that they have to be dedicated and be willing to work harder if they take online classes because the courses are very fast paced. It is worth it because the teachers are helpful and I have learned a lot in my time at Liberty.

College Senior

Majors: I have not had my internship yet.

College Senior

Campus Housing: I am an online student
