5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There's no campus crime, if you are walking home in the dark you can call the LUPD to escort you to where you are going. The campus is very safe

Computers: Tons of computers, horrible network connection, need your personal computer though

3 College Freshman

Parking: Most people are assigned a place to park and many have to keep there car in a lot called "the pit". It is very far from everything and students complain about it. There is a lot of nearby parking but you can only park in those spots on the weekend. Any other day you are only permitted to park in the lot you have been assigned to. Anyone parking in a spot where they do not belong will be towed. Believe me, they tow A LOT of people.

3 College Freshman

Majors: They have internships available and will help find you one. Many are required for your degree so you do not get paid.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I am happy with my program and want to continue until I earn my degree

College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Everyone is religious, as it is a Christian school. However, there are many attractive people and the students at this school believe in a thing called "Ring by spring", where students want to be engaged by spring. Many like to pair up as soon as possible and are joined at the hip. Everywhere you go there is always a couple holding hands. Physical contact, aside from hand holding and 3 second hugs is prohibited.

Drug Safety: There is no drinking, no drugs, and no usage whatsoever. There are penalties for those who choose to engage in such activities. It is written in the rules of the school than no one, even someone who is 21 or older, is allowed to consume alcohol. If they are caught then they will receive reprimands and be fined.

Off-Campus Housing: There are many apartment complexes near the school so if you want to live off campus there are tons of options. The school will even help you find and apartment and send buses to some of the complexes to bring you to campus. You have to be 21 to live off campus or live with someone who is 21 or older.

Transportation: The campus provides a great bus service but if you need to go anywhere outside the bus line it is easy to find rides as you'll know people with cars. When it comes to long-distance transportation all you need is a ride to the airport, passenger bus stop, or Amtrak. They are all easy to get to as long as you have someone to drop you off. There are also many people from all over so you'll find someone who is willing to give you a ride home if they're headed in your direction.

Campus Housing: There are many great housing options and you can choose to live in a traditional dorm or a more apartment style dorm. Everyone here is very nice and it is very easy to make friends. The best dorm option if you want to be close to everything are The Hill dorms. The worst option would be the Annex as they are not on campus and have to take a bus to get here. Liberty plans a lot of activities so you're never bored. The cost is close to pretty expensive but they hold classes to help you find scholarships and honestly care about the students.

Local Atmosphere: The local atmosphere is pretty busy. However, the whole town seems to be centered around this school. So everyone knows the university and support the students. It's easy to get places because there are many buses provided for our use. There is some beautiful scenery here and many trails that you can walk. Most of the activities we have are whatever the school organizes. There are also many places to shop with a mall nearby and other stores within walking distance.

College Freshman

Guys & Girls: As an online student I cannot speak accurately about guys and girls on campus.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Liberty Athletics and Student spirit is well known in Lynchburg and the western part of Virginia.

4 College Freshman

Weather: Weather does not keep me from actively pursuing my degree.

Overall Experience: The admission department of Liberty online and the business office have been very helpful. The department of counseling was instrumental in my decision to attend Liberty.

College Freshman

Majors: I cannot give feedback on this as of yet since my first class will not begin until February 2014

College Freshman

Majors: I have not enrolled in my internship yet at Liberty so I can not speak about this topic. No have I had an internship in my prior education.

College Freshman

Diversity: Because I am an online student I can not speak accurately to the diversity on the campus.

4 College Freshman

Academics: I am pursuing a License as a Professional Counselor. All other schools I inquired with about Counseling courses and internships were going to require I complete a full 2 year Masters degree. Liberty has reviewed my undergraduate and graduate transcripts and have accepted me as a transfer and given me partial credit for courses already taken. This will allow me to save money but also get closer to pursing a License sooner.

4 College Freshman

Academics: While I have only registered for one class the school has been a source of great assistance. I am looking forward to the education I will be receiving. Liberty is ranked as one of the best schools for pursuing a career in Counseling

College Freshman

Computers: I am an online student so I do not use computer labs on campus. Only WiFi when I am there. My computer usage is from my own home.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: I have only been to the campus once but I what services I consumed were good.

College Freshman

Campus Dining: I am an online student and do not go onto the campus and eat meals.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: A little on the expensive side, but plenty to be had.

Overall Experience: Have had a great time so far. The sport scene is great with football, basketball, soccer, volleyball and hockey. The only downside so far is parking. I have to walk a half mile to get to class and I'm paying to park that "close". There are no buses that run to zone 3 parking, so if it's after dark in the winter months, I have to walk in the dark across a bridge in the dark to my parking area.
