Majors: Once you declare a major, the schools counselors will give you a sheet that keeps you on track of your major. It has a list of classes that you should take each year, it's really helpful.

Academics: Liberty has a lot to offer when it comes to Majors and academics. The professors here are helpful and know everything they teach. The Workload isn't too bad I mean, it is college but you just have to stay on top of things.

Off-Campus Housing: I'd love to live off campus! I've seen a couple of the places and they are great. They also are pretty affordable.

Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty of restaurants and fast food places off campus, some even within walking distance. Only downside is for some reason in Lynchburg nobody likes to stay open late.

Drug Safety: You rarely find anything drug related at Liberty. They are no joke when it comes to that kind of stuff.

Scholarships: Liberty University has a great amount of scholarships to offer\. You didn't have to have a super high GPA or SAT score to receive them, just had to apply and meet the deadlines/qualifications.They were the most generous and giving to students from what I've seen and experienced.

Greek Life: To be honest I hadn't heard or have seen any sororities or fraternities around campus.

Campus Strictness: Our university is pretty strict mostly because we are a Christian University and have standards to uphold. These policies that they enforce really help our academic lives in such that if we have a certain amount of absences in a class, our grades drop quite a bit. Also, the policies they put on our social lives also help us focus more on our schoolwork instead of other things that are less important.

Scholarships: For some people, the financial aid process was easier and for them, however for me, it was a bit difficult. I had to keep changing my draft payment dates to later because my family did not have enough money for those months.

Local Atmosphere: Lynchburg, VA is not really a place that you would go to if it were not fro school or work. There are no attractions here, barely any activities, only one mall that I know of and it does not have many stores, and there is absolutely no nightlife. I guess, in a way, it is good for students so that we can focus more, however, on the weekends and when we want to hangout with each other, there isn't much to do, especially after 9pm. The locals are very friendly however, and hopefully in a couple years, Lynchburg will develop more things to do.

Transportation: We have many city buses that take us to different areas of campus if you are coming from somewhere off-campus. Also, we have shuttle buses on campus that run on three numbered paths. We have 3 numbered buses that take you to different areas of campus. There are many shuttle stops around campus that you can wait at and it comes with the fee of your tuition. Each month, you must renew your bus pass for city buses. However, for on-campus shuttles, there is no need for a bus pass.

Diversity: There is so much diversity in our school when it comes to people's ethnicity, economical background, religion, and beliefs. The only topic that I am not sure of is sexual orientation, being a Christian University based on the Word of God, which is the Bible, there are standards that we have. However, is someone were to be homosexual, they are not condemned at our school, but we try our very best to show them God's love and real purpose for their lives in none-judgemental way. The acceptance in our school is more than even I have ever known my entire life, so I truly believe that this university makes everyone feel welcome.

Athletics: The athletics at our university are very hyped up. Tons of people attend the games, most especially football. The bleachers are usually filled, people paint and decorate their bodies, people put glitter on themselves, and everyone wears red for the games. It is very fun and exciting to see everyone in their best school spirit.

Health & Safety: Our safety on campus is one of the best. We rarely have any crimes that happen on campus, the LUPD is always there to assist anyone in need of help. I even recall that the LUPD had brought home one of my friends in the early hours of the mornings just because he did not have a ride. I feel very safe and secure on our campus.

Off-Campus Housing: The school does not provide that much information when it comes to students living off-campus. We find our own area to live and find our own roommates. The pros about living off-campus is that you do not have to live with all the rules (ex: curfew, hall meetings, etc.) that the on-campus students have to do. Also, the number one "pro" about living off-campus is that it is thousands of dollars cheaper. However, living off-campus also denies you the opportunity to meet new people and go to the many events that on-campus students can go to. There is much off-campus availability around Liberty University since there are many students that look to live off-campus as well. Also, the housing and apartments are very close in proximity to the university. The school is not very helpful in helping you find a place to live off campus, however they are very understanding to the predicaments that off-campus students have to deal with sometimes.

Drug Safety: The Drug Safety at our school is very enforced on the students. The drug usage is not noticeable to barely noticeable. Our policies in our University are very strict, however, they cannot control every life on campus, so of course, there are some people who do what they are not supposed to and at times, they get away with it.

Majors: I have a great program, classes are nice, and I can't wait to get started! Everything is straightforward.
