College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: As an online student that lives in a different state, I do not know what the local atmosphere is like.

College Sophomore

Health & Safety: As an online student who lives in a different state, I do not know what the security is like on campus. At home I am very safe.

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: As an online student who lives in a different state and never visited the campus, I have no idea what dining options are available.

College Sophomore

Nightlife: As an online student, I do not interact with other students on campus. Even if I were to, I do not attend parties and I am underage.

College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: As an online student, I cannot see what other students look and dress like. Discussion boards are mainly for class discussions, not for personal use.

College Sophomore

Diversity: As an online student, I do not come in contact with any other students. Online, everyone is viewed the same, nothing is pronounced or extorted. A person can be free to be themselves and not worry about judgement.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: As an online student, I do not come in contact with Greek life.

Overall Experience: The professors are very encouraging and helpful. When you send an email to ask any question, they are quick to respond. The professors also encourage students on a weekly basis to do their best and to keep going. The courses are well prepared and full of useful content. I love the fact I can earn my degree completely online at a Christian school. The classes help me make a connection between my faith and applying it in the business world.

College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have not begun to look into future career opportunities at this time because I have a full-time job and my graduation is a long way off.

College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: I am an online student. All classes and communication is online and I have never been to the campus.

Nightlife: I don't go out to bars or clubs.

Campus Housing: In my case, getting a dorm on campus sucks because of my financial aid. Lately, I have been struggling to do the Financial Check-In on time before the deadline because of inconvenience with my parents' IRS Tax Return Transcript, and additional documents that is needed in order to get my financial aid package. I was recently told that if I don't do my financial aid by July 1st, my housing option will be dropped, and my classes as well, and I might have to go back to living at the same dorm place that I was in my freshman year, which I hated.

Athletics: We have a huge school spirit when it comes to sports, especially Ice Hockey, Football, Baseball, and Basketball. I love that there are so many fan support no matter the sport; it shows that we have our athletes back, and are for them.

Campus Strictness: Some of their rules, honestly, are kind of ridiculous like no hugging for more than 5 minutes of whatever, and getting fines for silly things like not making the bed, and also curfew is kind of annoying, but I will get over it.

Facilities: There were many unique opportunities at my school, but since I was living at a dorm that wasn't technically on campus, it was pretty difficult to get involved as much as I wanted to than if I was to live on campus. But the best opportunities were like joining intramurals, attending concerts, coffeehouse, and sport events.

Facilities: Though I wasn't living on campus, and getting involved in activities were kind of hard because of time management, I still met great friends, hanged out a lot at the library or at food joints, or at sport events, and there was always something to do on campus; it was never-ending. You could literally never get bored.

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of off-campus dining that are great and convenient. But it's better if you have a car to travel there, or you could simply walk there but that can be difficult sometimes, and there can be a lot of time wasted.
