4 College Freshman

Transportation: Buses Are a Must – we have a really great bus system that can get you just about where ever you need to get quickly.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I Wouldnt Know – I have heard that the apartments around campus are relatively reasonable but i have never looked for myself.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: The Campus Is Nice – we have an incredible campus located on a mountain. our dorms arent overly nice but you can pay more for quality. we have a really nice gym and student center where i spend a great deal of my time

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Reprimands Are Not Enjoyable – We have a reprimand system of consequences that are affiliated with inappropriate behavior. it is slightly excessive but not too bad.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: Unending Variety of Students – I enjoy the ethnic diversity that can be seen on campus. There are activities that cater to all groups.

4 College Freshman

Campus Dining: Not Too Bad – I enjoy the variety of locations available on campus. If the dining hall becomes dull there are several other options to cater to whatever craving you are having. I like the meal plan structure and that i have the ability to use meal points and swipes.

Nightlife: Curfew is at 12:00 on weekdays and 12:30 on weekends. You can sign out to various places on campus after that but can only stay there until 2:00 AM. Nightlife is pretty tame at Liberty and in most of Lynchburg for that matter

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The dorms are pretty good. Campus East has the nicest facilities but is also more expensive. Main campus is cheaper but it is also a lot closer to the dining hall and most classes.

3 College Freshman

Weather: Rains a Lot – The weather in virginia is bipolar and it usually rains part of the day and then it's sunny the rest of the part. When it's sunny, everyone hangs out outside.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Completely Safe – I've never felt unsafe at Liberty. They are very nice and they will walk you back to your dorm if you need to. There is always someone around and really well lit areas.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Boys Are Christ Centered – the boys here for very christ-centered since it is a christian school. They normally dress kinda preppy but they come from a variety of backgrounds like city boys, red necks, and country boys. There are many southern boys and they have great values and morals!

Facilities: Another Level – The atmosphere sets it apart from all other universities. Liberty was designed to train champions for Christ, through academic excellence, athletic excellence, and student involvement. Like the No Child Left Behind Act, we have a No Student Left Inside unofficial act. Student life isn't about drunken parties and clubs though you can go off-campus, which still isn't allowed. But there are many alternatives; things that you can actually remember the next morning. Concerts like Toby Mac, a Liberty alum to the Fray allow for a good time with friends, not things that will harm us.
Christian universities are not popular in American political society today, but that's okay because alot of things that were once applauded are now condemned. There is a world outside of our campus. We are apart of it and while here, we learn the importance of engaging in our communities to build relationships, shine light into the dark crevices, and help those in need; serving people, serving God.

Athletics: Flames Games – Though we are a private university, the amount of athletic talent and spirit gushes across the campus. Not only are we Big South Champions in football and women's basketball, but also the diversity and outstanding intramural sports allows everyone to have a chance to be apart of the team. Athletics are highly encouraged along with academics.

4 College Freshman

Academics: Passion for People – I came to Liberty University after visiting the campus only twice. I fell in love with the positive atmosphere of the campus. There is another level that makes Liberty stand out from other colleges in my opinion, a deeper level of compassion and drive for excellence. The professors genuinely care about the students lives in and outside of the classroom and encourage us to not give up.

College Junior

Parking: There needs to be more parking availability on campus. It is a hassle trying to find a parking spot at times.

College Junior

Computers: The computers at Liberty are very reliable. At times the internet speed is a little slow, but that is usually only the case when the majority of the computers are being occupied.

3 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: Life Off-Campus – Doing things off campus can be expensive because taxes in the city can be high.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: The financial aid is pretty decent. Liberty gives you a pretty good amount upfront

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Off Campus Living in Lynchburg – Off-campus living is good around Liberty. There are lots of different choices and options.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Campus living is great. There are numerous choices to choose from as to where a student would like to live. The prices also vary, according to where a student picks to live. The atmosphere is great! Students are always runnign or doing somw sort of outdoor activity.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: The Christian atmosphere is unique to Liberty. It sets us apart out in the community. There are plenty of opportunities to grow in Christ.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: No Drug and Alcohol Policy – Liberty University is a Christian school. Drugs and alcohol are forbidden. The enforcement of this policy is taken very seriously and may result in expulsion.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: There is good diversity among the boys and girls. Everyone seems to be individualistic when it comes to style. Social life tends to be cliquey.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are tons of off-campus dining in Lynchburg. There are mostly chain restaurants, where student discounts are accepted. The cost is average, although Lynchburg city requires us to pay a large tax on all out dining. Since there is so many students, the convenience is a problem. You must wait almost everywhere you go. The best places would be Texas Road House and La Caretta.

5 College Senior

Transportation: Getting Better Each Year – The bus system beats any other college I've been to. And I've been to 3 others.
