Majors: I got in! Everyone was very helpful and I have been geared on my way to success without difficulty.

4 College Freshman

Academics: Open Door – I have always been greeted with respect and openness. This school really makes it feel like they me as an individual to succeed.

Local Atmosphere: Historic Lynchburg – Lynchburg is a small town at its best. Fantastic country eateries, upscale historic restaurants, there is history and vibrancy in everything in town.

5 College Junior

Majors: Education Program Online – The Online Education Program is Excellent as the professors and students are able to join together in online chat-rooms for more than just studying. The school does it's utmost to include online students into it's world of campus life. Also included is the opportunity to pray for one another as we work outside school and online. Included into the curriculum is the integration of our faith and how we can apply it to the curriculum that we will be teaching in the future.

Academics: An Education Major Online – I really enjoy the interactions with my fellow online students and our professors. The professors are very understanding and are more than willing to help with anything and everything that they can and have been very open to new teaching tools and methods brought up from students!

Greek Life: Greek May Not Prevail. The variety of student activities does allow for an even amount of Greek life at Liberty. Restrictions are well within reason and the freedom to participate prevails.

Campus Dining: Blessed Food. College food is never generally great but Liberty's seem to be blessed. I am not aware of anyone getting sick from the food. The variety is evident and the students display a "fed" appearance.

Health & Safety: Liberty University is very conscious of the importance of safety and works closely with the State of Virginia law enforcement and the department of Health to ensure OSHA safety rules are adhered to.

Local Atmosphere: Seeing It All – In May 2011, I went to Liberty University's graduation. Between services, I went around Lynchburg to shop. I also visted several different fantastic resturants. The school was able to direct me and my family to a host of stores and places to eat.

Campus Housing: Feels Like Family – There is Campus East (apartment like dorms) The Hill, (regular dorms 2-3 floors) The Circle( regular one floor dorms) and The Quads( 2-3 floors like apartment dorms) The regular dorms are very loud and open. Everyone is always socializing which is great especially for new students. Campus East is much calmer but worth a little more expense as it has a full kitchen and washer and dryer!

Off-Campus Dining: Tons to Choose from – The off campus dining options are never ending. The campus is surrounded by restaurants and gas stations, not to mention a great number of these places offer a discount to Liberty Students. Some places include, Logans, Texas Roadhouse, Subway, Five guys, Panera, Buffalo Wild Wings, Olive garden, Sweetfrog, Red Lobster, Mcdonalds, Dominios, Wendys, Smoothie King and Sonic which is conveniently right on Campus. There really is a lot to choose from!

4 College Junior

Academics: Top Notch Distance Learning Program for busy professionals, Concerned Professors, and Student Services availablity 6 days a week.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Fan Support – I have been to a couple of basketball games but the fan support is incredible. Liberty Flames fans are always shouting, cheering, and being mesmerized by the plays. Fans are given t-shirts and other free gifts for showing the most spirit at the games.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Social Life – The social life on campus is friendly and outgoing. There are many activities for young men and young ladies to get acquainted. For example, there are movies, ice skating opportunities, and plenty of sports games for students to meet.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: There is plenty of ethnic diversity on campus. For example, there are students from Asia, Canada, the Middle East, South America, Africa, and Central America. I have a friend who is from South Africa and another who lives in South Korea. Students are able to learn about other cultures through being assigned roommates and spending time together.

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: I Love Our Food – Everybody at on our campus complains about the food in the dinning hall, but aftering there for months it does get kind of old. I personally love the food, but sometimes get tired of the samething. We have a lot of options like pizza , mexican, chinese, burgers, salads, and a station that has different foods for lunch and dinner. The location off campus is close and great for when we use our flames cash.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Out Campus Is Great – Our facilities are top notch. Our school is doing a lot of reconstruction and they are placing them with the must up to date equipment. With in the next couple of years our school is going to make a new library, but our library currently is very orginzed. They have a lot of computers for the students to use thourgh out the day and for late night studing. Our school is small so everything is close for when we have campuse activities so the whole campus pretty much comes out to participate.

Academics: Great Online Prgrams – I am an online student, so my program is unique in that I do not interact with other students face to face. I love the prgram!

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Limited but Good – This is not a large community in Lynchburg, but my experiences with the local restaurants to be good and within a walking distance from most points on campus.

Health & Safety: Excellent Environment – Even though I will attend on-line, I have been to the campus for different events and have always felt extremely safe. This campus is not in an urban area or over populated. It is a Christian community that prides itself on being followers of Jesus and I have found his example of kindness and respect for others evident.

4 College Junior

Academics: I am very impressed with the curriculums and the feedback I have received from Liberty University. The professors are knowledgeable and open to communication for any questions a student may have.

Campus Strictness: Quite Strict – As a Christian private school there is an intense strict and conservtive atmosphere that affects even the online classes.

5 College Senior

Guys & Girls: The Social Atmosphere Is Laid Back – The people are very nice here and treat others with respect. If this is what you are looking for, this is what you will find here. People are helpful and will even help remind other students of assignment deadlines. Life is hard already and the social atmosphere of college shouldn't make it harder. In Liberty's case, it not only doesn't make life harder, but actually makes life easier. Now, if you are looking for college to be something besides an educational oasis, maybe you should look elsewhere.

Academics: I feel that Liberty University's psychology program is one of the best in the country. There seems to be a real focus on preparing students for a career in a counseling setting, which is not the case with many other psychology programs.

Athletics: Sports Are Secondary to Academics, as It Should Be – I am currently not in any kinds of sports at this time and therefore, I am not the best person to make this determination. I would like to say, however, that Liberty does seem to win a lot of games, but they know that sports should come secondary to academics. For that reason, I give it an A+. It is a school, after all.
