Majors: Not your typical christian school. Majors are available for many different types of people, no matter what your interest is!

3 College Freshman

Parking: If you can find a place, good luck. The parking is limited for first-year students, so be prepared to walk to your car.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Main's the Way to Go – For those looking to get a great experience close to the action here, pick the dorms in the main circle. They really give the best experience for an incoming student.

3 College Junior

Weather: It's scorching hot in August, but bitter cold in January and February

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: Dry Campus! Liberty is completely dry of alcohol and drugs and it's great!

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: There are several scholarships available to students, however, they don't really match the cost of tuition

Overall Experience: Best Choice I Made – Liberty University is the best place to be for a Christian Education. Faculty and students alike are courteous and kind. There are many guidelines to keep you out of trouble and to help you do well in school. And the student activities available on campus exceed the amount humanly possible to participate in!

Transportation: The bus routes change almost every year. It gets really really annoying.

2 College Junior

Parking: It all depends on where you live. Commuter parking is horrible. Main campus is alright. East and the annex parking are amazing.

Athletics: Everybody goes to football games. Every dorm tailgates then walks over to the stadium. Students have free admission with student ID. The student section never sits and is crazy loud. School spirit is huge at Liberty. Hockey is also wicked big here. Our chancellor is at almost every game. Our chancellor and his wife really love the students and support us in everything from sports, to theater, to random campus events.

Nightlife: Here at Liberty University the students are those who stay away from the club night life scene and instead choose to spend the time with friends doing other activities such as snowboarding or skiing on LU's year round Snowflex ski resort.

Campus Dining: Fantastic Dining! There are plenty of food retailers around campus so you can always have something to eat if you need it. To top it off Liberty University offers a buffet style dining hall that always has great food. Another great dining experience on campus is a full restaurant serving fantastic restaurant quality food for students on campus as well as visitors and faculty.

Facilities: This Campus Is Amazing – The campus of Liberty University is stunning. Seated in the foothills of the blue ridge mountains it is full of awesome scenery. With both dorm style and apartment style living, there is something for everyone. There are plenty of food retailers around campus so you can always have something to eat if you need it. The two story gym with an Olympic sized pool and basketball courts and their two wight rooms and cardio rooms available for resident students to take advantage of free of charge. It also has a three story library with full feature computer labs with both Mac and PC computers available for students to use along with networked printing stations. The campus also has it's own ice rink and has plenty of well seated lecture hall with awesome acoustics so you can always understand the instructor during the lecture.

Overall Experience: Changing Lives One Diploma at a Time – Liberty is the best college ever. It has so much potential and gives each student the encouragement and knowledge that he/she deserves. I personally love the fact that it is a Christian University and allows me to share my faith and how to proclaim the love of Jesus Christ to all me friends around campus. It's such a joy to be apart of something greater than yourself and to be able to call yourself a student of the Fastest Growing Universities around! As our newly founded "LU Anthem" By Humble TIP states: "So we're changing the world one alumnus at a time, and we're changing lives one diploma at a time"!

Weather: Rain Rain Go Away, Come Again Another Day – Liberty experiences many rainfalls, and during the winter there is snow and many icy roads. Classes normally don't get canceled which makes it difficult to get to class without hurting yourself. However, Liberty takes that into consideration and gets the landscapers out as quickly as possible to clear the sidewalks and pathways. Other than that we get beautiful weather and enjoy walking to classes instead of riding the buses!

Campus Strictness: TOWING ENFORCEMENT!! This year they have added multiple parking spaces, which is awesome, but failed to tell what the new names of each parking lot is. This new parking arrangement is nice, but students are still trying to get used to the parking. The LUPD were towing cars the first week of school! The lines to receive our parking decals is always way too long - we have classes. The LUPD should try a new system that works better for them and the students. Also, there still seems to not be enough parking - which should not be the problem. Students that commute have to get to campus 45 minutes to an hour early just to find a parking spot so they can arrive to class on time. This to me is ridiculous.

Greek Life: Online Student – I don't thing there is one, but I am an online student so I wouldn't know.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Online Student – I have no idea...this does not offer any exception for online students.

5 College Junior

Computers: I attend Liberty Online and it is the most veteran friendly school I have found! If you are a disabled veteran who has used all of your GI Bill, Liberty will give you their Hero's Fund Scholarship!

5 College Sophomore

Majors: I Love It – not only are the people so easy to talk to they made me feel like i belong a lady named Dawn was so sweet.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Pizza Place – cant really do that expect at champaign we ate where the kids went

5 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Liberty does not have Greek life on campus, they have brother-sister dorms. We do not have co-ed dorms, so each dorm is matched with a dorm of the opposite gender. Brother-sister dorms often hang out on the weekends.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Liberty has several different places for students to eat. There is so much variety of food on campus that students can find pretty much any kind of food they are looking for. A lot of the food can be pricey, but there is always the choice of using the meal plan for off campus restaurants.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Liberty is constantly trying to better the school for the students. They try to make everything more convenient for the students and they are always asking how they can continue to do so. The workload can be overbearing at times but I always get it done. The curriculum all fits together and helps the student see all the different aspects of their faith and why they believe what they believe. There are plenty of opportunities for students to find internships and jobs right out of school.

Local Atmosphere: Lynchburg Is Loads of Fun. Lynchburg is located near the Appalachian Mountains. Students can go on school-sponsored tubing trips and other recreational adventures offered because of the universities location. Cultural events abound as well. Several historical sites are located within driving distance from Liberty also.
