4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of places to eat off campus that are good. Everything you would possibly need is in a mile radius of the school which is convenient but sometimes gets you feeling trapped in a bubble.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: The guys at the school are all into chivalry, which is nice! But they lack on the looks part...unfortunate. But if you're looking for a guy to treat you right this school is definitely for you!

Weather: Lynchburg weather seems to be rather fickle. Apparently it is notoriously rainy as well. Overall, it isn't extremely cold or hot.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: There is a wide variety of racial and ethnic groups here. There are church services in many languages nearby. There is also a variety of people from different economic backgrounds. Political beliefs are varied but there is an overwhelmingly prevalent Republican influence. Liberty is a bit liberal for a Christian university, but most students would agree that it is extremely conservative. Homosexual lifestyle is combated.

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Being a christian school, Liberty doesn't have an overwhelming drug influence. There are people who drink and smoke however. Not everyone who goes here is a Christian or uptight with their morals. It isn't very visible, but nevertheless, still goes on. The punishments for such actions are pretty harsh.

Athletics: Our football team won the Big South 4 times in a row before this year. The Big South isn't a great conference, but Liberty excels in it. The volleyball team wins their conference regularly as well. We have had some awesome track runners and a strong baseball team with pro prospects. Football game days are really fun. There are tailgating parties and cookouts everywhere, as well as high attendance at the games. Intramural sports are also a great stress reliever if you're looking to just have fun.

Campus Dining: Dining hall food gets old fast. It is decent to begin with though and a source of a well balanced meal. Meal swipes used to only be used at the dining hall, but due to positive changes they are now available at other places on campus. There is a variety of places to eat besides the dining hall. It just depends on whether you can afford to go to them all of the time. The meal swipe availability is making some places more practical.

Weather: The weather is kind of bipolar because one day it's warm out and the next it's freezing, but that's expected when your college is located in the mountains. It doesn't really bother me or anyone else.

1 College Junior

Parking: There is literally no place to park because Liberty decided to put everyone's classes in the same building. It is an absolute nightmare to find a place to park your car.

4 College Junior

Academics: Awesome Free Tutoring Services – There are a plethora of free tutoring services made available for us students in order to help us achieve a good, well-deserved grade in our classes. For any subject, there is free tutoring. It's amazing.

5 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Because Liberty University is a Christian college, the dress code reflects the college's Christian values. The girls on campus are required to dress modestly while the guys are required to dress professionally.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The dorms at Liberty University are set up so that there is a hall with rooms lining either side; this set up makes it easy to communicate with the hallmates. The dorms are very roomy and livable.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: The convenience of off-campus dining is excellent because Liberty University is in the city. Many of the restaurants take the college's "flames cash" which is the university's idea of a debit card.

4 College Freshman

Academics: Liberty is definitely a good school that pushes the students to try their hardest. Studying premed is obviously difficult, but it would be the same no matter where I went. Here, I learn from a christian view opposed to secular which I love. It's a lot different from a secular college here. We call it the "liberty bubble." But in a way, it's nice to see that side of college.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: The School of Communications – Any body can get in. Liberty has a great Communications program. When you become an upper class man, applying for the internships and practicums you need to complete in order to graduate is a little more difficult, but definitely doable.

1 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Liberty does not have Fraternities or Sororities. Some students are trying to kick start Greek life. However, most Greek life is contrary to Liberty's rules. There are plenty of other clubs and organizations to choose from.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Main Campus Dorm Life – Living on Main Campus at Liberty University has its pros and cons. Sharing a tiny room with two other girls is tough. Closet space is extremely limited. However, by just walking out in the hall I can always find somebody to hang out with. I wish I an oven and stove top to cook on. Having this experience has been great, but I think I will try the apartment style dorms on east campus next year.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: The cost of liberty is very convenient, along with everyone having a great backgroud you feel at home. And the apartments arent that expensive off campus either

5 College Sophomore

Majors: Just Starting Out – SO far being my first semester, I have to say that things are going fairly well and I have received the assistance that I need when neccessary.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Dining on campus is good, but it is just as convenient to go to Wards road and have a wide variety of restruants there to choose from.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: The athletics at Liberty are well organized and have great support from staff, students, and community. I would say Football and Basketball are probaly top two then Basesall. Our womens sports are highly supported as well.

5 College Student

Campus Strictness: Extremely Strict – This school is amazing! but the rules here are very strict compared to a public school or even other christian private schools. The curfew is 12 on weekdays and 12:30 on weekends which I really don't mind. If your caught smoking or drinking on campus you could be expelled immediately no questions asked. The rules here really arent strict if you've grown up this way like me. If your not use to rules I would start looking at other schools

3 College Student

Off-Campus Housing: Not Exactly Sure – I'm not really sure about the off campus housing but I heard their really nice just expensive

4 College Student

Campus Dining: Amazing Food!! There are so many places to eat on campus besides the main dining hall its crazy!! The food is really good compared to other University's I've visited.

4 College Junior

Weather: Sitting on a Mountain Top!! Ok, its on a mountain in Virginia! So, we get snow in the winter and it gets cold. But, we have a year round ski hill - and they always have excellent stuff to do in the winter! Its a great place to be year round - Fall is mild, Spring is mild too.
