Campus Dining: I love the variety at the dining hall.Veggie Burgers!

Campus Dining: The food avaibility is good, but the food itself is not always the best. Its more of a hit or miss depending on what day it is. But i guess my opinion is biased because i have to eat there everyday.

Academics: Not Started Yet but Heard from Other Recent Grads – the teachers are attentive and pay wonderful attention to not just the grades of the student but them as a person too.

3 College Freshman

Majors: Getting Into the Nursing Program – It takes a lot of work to get into the program, but the actual application process is not hard, for the most part. You just have to make sure to keep up with deadlines.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Liberty doesn't offer too many good-amount scholarships.

Overall Experience: Online Learner – I enjoy the online atmosphere of Liberty University. I like the fact that it's a Christian college and the professors are wonderful. Excellent education

Overall Experience: Lovin' It. I love Liberty, despite the strictness and rules. The faculty are well-trained and genuinely care about students. There is enough things to do in town that you don't get bored. I would choose this school again. It can be pricey, but that's why I am scholarship searching.

Campus Housing: There are alot of rules, so if you have a hard time with authority, it probably wouldn't be a good fit for you. Other than that, the atmosphere is very sociable.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Complete Safety – I have never felt in danger on campus at any time or location. You should still be smart as a general rule. I have walked alone to my car at 2AM and not felt in danger at all. Campus Security does a good job at keeping everyone safe all the time.

Local Atmosphere: I Don't Live on Campus. I don't live on the college camups. I am a distant education student. However, what I have seen online, I would love to live on campus and plan to do so in two years.

Scholarships: As an International student all the financial aid has been explained to me and distributed throughout the 4 years. However, there are times where they have forgotten to add in a scholarship. I am currently looking for 5th year financial aid, as all my scholarships run out after 4 years. This is a hard process.

Campus Housing: Safe, Relaxing and Supportive – Living on campus is great! The dorms have your necessities and has great maintenance service. They can get a little noisy due to a lot of the rooms having 3 people sharing it. The social atmosphere is thriving with theme nights and game nights with partner dorms. The housing process is fairly easy and guarantee living with a preferable roommate. The cost is a little pricy in my opinion.

Facilities: There are numerous of facilities for the students to freely use. We have an athletic center with 5 indoor basketball courts, 4 indoor soccer courts and a work out gym. There is also an ice rink, Snowflex ( year round ski slope), library, and the Vines center which is used for Varsity basketball or volleyball games. There is something happening almost every night on this campus, whether it be open mic night, coffeehouse, or athletics, this campus has something for everyone!

Campus Strictness: Super Strict Christian School – Liberty is about as strict as it gets. If you go on their website and look up "The Liberty Way" you will see what I mean. There is a huge rule book that tells you what you can and cannot do. Some of the thing on there have fines of up to $500 if you break them. The school is completely unfair about how they enforce the rules too. They leave it up to the RA's of the dorms to give reprimands for fines, and the RA's are just students like us. Some RA's are stricter than others so to me it's not fair.
Also, my friend was trying to petition to give guys the right to wear shorts to class in the spring semester because it gets hot. The school told him that if he continued to petition that he would receive reprimands and eventually be expelled from the school. The students have no voice at Liberty. The faculty calls themselves Christian, but that is really hard to believe.

Drug Safety: Drugs are not allowed, but I know a few people who smoke pot right in their dorm bathroom on campus east.

Athletics: The only sport people care about is football in the fall. After football season is over, the campus is dead for the rest of the year.

Majors: The possibilities are endless. Liberty offers hundreds of majors specific to your interest.

Transportation: The campus has a transit system that allows students to find a ride anywhere, anytime. The hills can make it a long walk and the campus is quite large.

Facilities: Among the many buildings that line the side of Liberty Mountain in Lynchburg, Virginia, there are a few that include state-of-the-art technology and design. Liberty's 6,500 acre campus hosts facilities such as the Arthur S. DeMoss Learning Center, the LaHaye Student Union, and the newest addition to the Liberty campus; the Snowflex. Liberty's DeMoss Learning Center exists as the main building for academics. The LaHaye Student Union includes multiple basketball courts, fitness centers, pools, soccer fields, and social gatherings. The Snowflex allows for year-round skiing, tubing, and snowboarding for beginners and professionals. LU's campus has it all.

Computers: The computers at Liberty are very up to date. They are normally in great condition and easy to use. There is also usually plenty of them even though there are a lot of students. The speed is good as long as you are using one in the computer lab. The same with connectivity. It is a necessity to have a personal computer.

3 College Junior

Weather: You experience all four seasons, winter, spring, summer and fall. The seasons are clearly identifiable.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: I love Liberty; being there has probably been one of the highlights of my life so far. I feel like being there has made me a more confident and successfull person. I have made some of the best friends and had some of the best times there!

Diversity: Global Minded – Liberty University is a global minded university that constantly is putting differences before similarities. That is evident in the classroom, our services through out the week, and in our campus life. We are always looking to reveal truth in different situations. The more chances to reveal truth, the better!

Local Atmosphere: Lemme Hear You Say L-U! Liberty has a lot of really cool outdoor attractions such as the blue ridge mountains, parks, and trails. They are fun to explore. We don't really have alot of cool restraunts around the school, but there are some cooler ones downtown if you feel like venturing out!
