Off-Campus Dining: Ward's Road Options – Directly behind Liberty University is Ward's road. Ward's road contains any type of cuisine you could possibly imagine. Anything from Buffalo Wild Wings to authentic Mexican. Everything is convenient and close by the school. There are also many options further away from campus, but the more popular places are located directly behind campus.

Transportation: I haven't had any problems with transportation around LU. There are buses running almost all the time which makes it really easy to get around. Not having a car really isn't a huge problem because you can always get a bus or have a friend drive you around.

Campus Housing: Living on Campus Is Great! I love being on campus. There are many different housing/dorm options which makes it easy to find the right fit for you. There isn't really a struggle with "freshman" and "upper class" dorms, you can pretty much choose wherever you want to live on campus and as long as it isn't full you're in! Campus East is especially nice if you want a real apartment feel. Having your own washing machine and dryer makes doing laundry so much easier! The only down side to Campus East is it is a little far from everything on campus. If you want something closer to everything on campus you can live in the Hill or Main Campus.

Off-Campus Dining: Off-campus dining around school is great! There are multiple choices right by the school that are easily accessible. It is also easy to pay for using your Flames card. Sonic is right by the bottom of the hill right off campus making it a great option for something quick. And I love Sweet Frog when I'm in the mood for something sweet.

Scholarships: Can't Complain – I did not receive a great amount of scholarships and financial aid, but it was better than was most schools offered me. However, I did not have to do any work to receive these. When I applied, they told me what scholarships I was eligible for and when I confirmed that I was attending, they automatically applied those scholarships to my cost.

Transportation: Busses Are Great – The public transportation around campus is great. The busses run from the early morning to the great night, and from about 8am-5pm, you will never have to wait more than 5 minutes for a bus to come. The transportation fee is very reasonable and turns out to be well worth it throughout the semester.

Campus Dining: Better Than What Most Think – As with all colleges, when you're there for a whole year you get sick of the food pretty quick no matter how many options and varieties. However, Liberty does a great job of giving the student a variety of options in the dining hall as well as around campus. It does get repetitive after a while but compared to other school I have been to, Liberty's dining hall and dining options are superb.

Athletics: This school seems really into thier sports. Even as an online student, I received an invitation to their homecoming game and various other sports related activities.

Facilities: I am an online student, so I am unsure about the quality of the facilities on campus. However, the quality of education online has been exemplary.

Overall Experience: A Great Experience – The online experience has been very great and has fit into my life very well. I have a young toddler and I don't have the time to go to a brick and mortar school. Liberty is a lifesaver for me and I'm glad to have my Christian views supported and have emails that have devotionals for me to read and also to send prayer requests.

Drug Safety: No Drugs or Alcohol Allowed – Liberty University is a Christian School and does not allow drugs or alcohol. They always enforce the rules.

Majors: The process was easy to get into the program. The online website had every process and admission requirements listed.

Diversity: I enjoy seeing and interacting with people from different cultures and race. It is important for ourselves to be surrounded and enjoy time with different people. It gives us more knowledge of their culture plus help us in our daily life.

Facilities: Campus Activities – There is always something going on campus. With, concerts, sporting events, key note speakers, and so on. It is well organized and always willing to go.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: The school is very strict in regards to towing regulations. Also, there is not adequate parking on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Fairly Resonable – The school has a strict policy called the "Liberty Way". Some of the rules seem a little unreasonable, but most are in place to keep us honorable.

Off-Campus Dining: Great Food! We are able to take advantage of the many off-campus dining options through the use of "Flames Cash" associated with our dining plan.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Good So Far – I am an online student, so I haven't gotten the full college experience. From what I can tell, everyone I have spoken to over the phone has been very helpful and patient with me. The cost of tuition is reasonable. I have yet to get started with classes

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: Health and Safety – I am on online student and cannot speak on this issue.

Academics: Online Education – Liberty University online offers a terrific opportunity for adult learners to go to college while working full time and meeting family obligations.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: It rains a lot here but with the academic buildings being relatively close and a terrific bus system, it is easy to stay dry.

Campus Strictness: What Do You Expect? Liberty University is a Christian University that believes in keeping it's christian principles. It is a dry campus and there is a curfew, girls are not allowed in guys dorms and vice versa but they are forgiving to those who make "mistakes."

Athletics: Fun, Plentiful, and Crazy – The athletics at Liberty are incredibly important and fun. The only downside is that some cost money to go to for students because they are only club sports. Otherwise, the university itself is extremely supportive of out athletics and are creating new teams each year. We range from a paint-ball team to football to crew to hockey. It is great.

4 College Senior

Transportation: Buses Are Everywhere – Due to the lack of parking availability there have been buses coming and going more frequently.

3 College Senior

Computers: Functional Computer Lab – They are above average. There is generally enough computers for the people seeking to use them. There are newer models of Mac computers available as well as regular desktop computers. The wireless is available everywhere on campus and is generally consistent. It is not the fastest wireless but it works just fine I have always had my own laptop and printer while at this school but printing is cheaper in the computer lab so I often go there for larger printing projects.
