Majors: Great Process! Getting into the Sports Management major was easy. I didnt have to go through a special application process although for some majors that is required such as athletic training. I have secured a job with the track team next year which goes along with my major.

Campus Dining: It Ok – The places around campus are good. I guess you get kind of tired of eating at dining halls, but when you need something to eat between classes, you can't complain. NC State dining hall food is not all that bad, it just gets old sometimes. I suggest not buying a huge meal plan after freshman year.

Parking: The parking has improved much more then it has been. It doesn't have great parking but it better.

Scholarships: The financial aid office is very helpful. Although, I didn't get as much financial support as I need, I was still blessed to get scholarships through Liberty and was helped by the financial aid staff.

Weather: Nicer Than New England – The winters can get cold, but not as cold as the Northeastern US. It snows a little, but does not last long. Winters are not as bad as New England, and pretty much is the perfect weather.

Campus Housing: The Hill Is the Best Option for Freshmen – While all the housing options are nice, The Hill is where most freshmen are suggested to stay. It is located near everything and is the most convenient. Students also say it is good to live at the Hill for the first year because you get to meet a lot of people. You live on a floor with almost 60 students, so you are always meeting new people. Campus East is supposed to be the worst because you need transportation to get there or it is a little bit of a walk. It is apartment-style housing with 8 students and 4 bedrooms (2 students per room). It has a kitchen, living room, 4 bedrooms, and a bathroom to every bedroom, which is nice. In my opinion, it is nice to live at Campus East after freshman year when you already know a lot of people. The Quad is similar to Campus East, just in a different location. The Annex and the Circle are similar to The Hill, just in different and further locations.

Transportation: Buses Are Convenient – When I visited Liberty University, the buses came in handy to get me where I needed to go. The buses come frequently and are alays there if you have somewhere you need to be. It brought us to the mall and back, and to Snowflex which is where the school has fake snow to allow students to snowboard and ski year-round.

Computers: Labs Are Crowded – I visited Liberty University for a weekend because I am not attending until this fall, but when we got a tour there were a lot of people using the computers. Being one of the largest Christian schools in the world, I think I will definitely need to buy my own personal laptop. I think it is more convenient to have your own, and a lot more reliable than to depend on the computer labs which could be full.

Weather: In the fall and spring months, the weather is great! But the winters are cold and it rains alot in Lynchburg. Th students have been known to call it Drenchburg because of the rain.

3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: Better Than Most Universities but Not Great – Liberty offers alot of variety with food but i feel that there needs to be more food places around campus. The main dining hall got old after a semester, but other small food places were good and convenient.

Overall Experience: Love the School! I enjoy the fact that Liberty provides an excellent Christian education but also provides students with all th perks public universities have. We have every sport imaginable and most of them are Division 1 sports. The campus is always changing and building new things to keep it up to date. Liberty's atmosphere is awesome. Most of the students here are on fire for God and are willing to learn and grow.

Majors: Wonderful to have the ability to go to seminary from hometown online.

Transportation: Buses Are the Way to Go – Liberty has a bus transportation system. Buses run all over campus. There isn't a place on campus that you can't get to on a bus. Buses to class buildings run every 5 minutes and buses to recreational facilities run every 15 minutes.

5 College Freshman

Facilities: Lahaye Student Center – Lahaye is absolutely amazing! It has indoor soccer fields, an olympic sized pool, a full work-out center with machines and aerobics, dance classes to keep physically fit, 6 basket-ball courts, and a nice cafe area (including a subconnection) with couches and a lounge room with pool tables and flat screens.

5 College Freshman

Transportation: Buses Are Your Best Bet – The Greater Lynchburg Transit company runs buses through and around campus daily on 10 minute intervals. They are convenient and easy to use.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: There is not a party or club scene at liberty as it is a private campus and such activities break the rules which are set out to guide the actions of students. However, the school frequently holds organized social events which act as a replacement for such a night life.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The Rot – The food at Liberty is not the best, but you get used to it after awhile. While the Reber-Thomas Dining Hall (aka "The Rot") is the easiest place to grab food, it also has the worst tasting food. There are other options though! The Tilley Student Center offers three meals a day. There is also Doc's Diner, The Hangar, The East Campus Clubhouse,The Bistro, and Simply To Go. These places are all right on campus and are easy to access!

Academics: Popular Study Areas – While I tend to study in my dorm room, I've heard of plenty other places to study. The computer labs are very popular, as is the library. Liberty also has a student center, which can be a great place to hang out and study as a group. Or, if you need a quiet place to study by yourself, Liberty offers quiet study centers, which are awesome.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Amazing Professors! I love Liberty University! I'm a special/elementary education major and I have had some of the most amazing professors during my time at Liberty so far. The majority of them truly seem to not only love what their teaching, but also seem to really care about their students too.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: The computer lab (aka c-lab) is more of a hangout than a place to study

4 College Student

Campus Dining: Great tasty food but there should be and even greater variety of food such as sushi and maybe cultural food.

1 College Freshman

Parking: Needs More – Parking is awful. There just isn't enough of it. If you are a commuter student, you might as well give up. You will not find parking unless you get to school super early. And when it's CFAW or parents weekend, just don't bother. You will never find a parking spot.

3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: Dining Hall – The dining hall is often horrible. The food is generally just disgusting. There are other options on campus though that are decent.

4 College Freshman

Transportation: Bus System – The buses are very convenient for getting around campus, however you are often waiting for longer than it would actually take you to walk. It you're not in a hurry than the buses are a great option. They run all day until 10pm.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Busy City – It's a busy city and in some areas it is a little sketchy. The people are nice though. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, however there aren't really many places to nearby to do activities.
