5 College Junior

Scholarships: Working Fast – I needed financial aid. They helped me a lot quickly.
I received some grants from fasa.

5 College Junior

Majors: I am working as a volunteer at the duke hospital because I can help patients and medical people with the word of God.
And also I am interested in being a Chaplin.

5 College Junior

Majors: Prepare Good Quality for Minister – My major is religion.
I am working at church as a assistant pastor. I need to learn about the bible more so I am really happy with this major. But I don't want to do all over again because I want to learn other things for my ministry.
I want to be a good minister to save my people with the gospel especially teenagers. I want to do teenager ministry and multi-ethnic ministry.

5 College Junior

Majors: Online Classes – I think online classes are much difficult than on-campus classes.
Because I need to make a time management pretty well so that I can keep on catching classes by myself.
But I can utilize my 24 hours for me as much as I can.

My application process was very simple and so easy.
But when we apply school over the phone, we need to check spell correctly.
My name and my address were not correct when I checked them after a admission.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: Great Teachers. I have had excellent teachers, great topics. Love this school.

College Sophomore

Transportation: Go to School Online. Not sure how to answer this question. I go to school online.

Off-Campus Dining: There Is Plenty to Choose from! There is a great amount of diverse dining around Liberty. You will never get tired of the same old thing.

5 College Junior

Academics: Always There for Me!! Every professor has been absolutely amazing! They are engaging and get your critical thinking skills lots of work. They want each student to understand the reasons behind the reasons. They emphasize a healthy study life, so that each student can succeed. When ever I have a question, they always get right back with me within a couple of hours.

5 College Junior

Parking: I have no complaints about the parking and neither do my friends.

5 College Junior

Transportation: Getting a parking tag is free and easy. It has a tear-off bottom section, we you hand in to the campus police station for registration and you are good to go! Can't get more convenient than that.

5 College Junior

Greek Life: There are no sororities at Liberty University. I believe this to be a good thing. I have attended other colleges and every sorority was about the parties. If they were educational, that would be great.

5 College Junior

Facilities: Once campus they are always build and tearing down building. They try to keep their major buildings up to date.

Health & Safety: While the campus is open it is still pretty safe. Everything is in walking distance of each other. And if you don't feel safe the campus police are available to provide rides to where you need to go.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: There are several large parking lots available on campus but you may have to walk a ways to get back to your dorm.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: Liberty does not have a Greek life presence on campus. There is more of a emphasis on community, intermural sports, theater, music, etc. There is a great community feel in the dorms.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Great Envorinment to Learn! Liberty is a great envirnment to learn. The atmosphere creates a positive environment to study. There is a great deal of common pride in our school. The faculty care about the students. I cant imagine myself anywhere.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: Sports Management – I am in the Sports Management major at school. I have enjoyed my Sports Management classes at school. Liberty has some incredible sports programs and facilities so it is a great school to study this major. There are jobs available in this major which complements my major.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Much to Choose from – There is a lot to do around Lynchburg, VA. The surrounding counties are rural and beautiful. There are many places to drive to where you can hike and go to falls. There is a mall and other shopping centers within visual site of the school.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: Great Process! Getting into the Sports Management major was easy. I didnt have to go through a special application process although for some majors that is required such as athletic training. I have secured a job with the track team next year which goes along with my major.

Campus Dining: It Ok – The places around campus are good. I guess you get kind of tired of eating at dining halls, but when you need something to eat between classes, you can't complain. NC State dining hall food is not all that bad, it just gets old sometimes. I suggest not buying a huge meal plan after freshman year.

3 College Junior

Parking: The parking has improved much more then it has been. It doesn't have great parking but it better.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: The financial aid office is very helpful. Although, I didn't get as much financial support as I need, I was still blessed to get scholarships through Liberty and was helped by the financial aid staff.

3 College Freshman

Weather: Nicer Than New England – The winters can get cold, but not as cold as the Northeastern US. It snows a little, but does not last long. Winters are not as bad as New England, and pretty much is the perfect weather.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The Hill Is the Best Option for Freshmen – While all the housing options are nice, The Hill is where most freshmen are suggested to stay. It is located near everything and is the most convenient. Students also say it is good to live at the Hill for the first year because you get to meet a lot of people. You live on a floor with almost 60 students, so you are always meeting new people. Campus East is supposed to be the worst because you need transportation to get there or it is a little bit of a walk. It is apartment-style housing with 8 students and 4 bedrooms (2 students per room). It has a kitchen, living room, 4 bedrooms, and a bathroom to every bedroom, which is nice. In my opinion, it is nice to live at Campus East after freshman year when you already know a lot of people. The Quad is similar to Campus East, just in a different location. The Annex and the Circle are similar to The Hill, just in different and further locations.

Transportation: Buses Are Convenient – When I visited Liberty University, the buses came in handy to get me where I needed to go. The buses come frequently and are alays there if you have somewhere you need to be. It brought us to the mall and back, and to Snowflex which is where the school has fake snow to allow students to snowboard and ski year-round.
