Local Atmosphere: Many attractions within comfortable driving distance

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: LU is surrounded by every dining option you can imagine, from sit-down to drive through. You can get anything you want. There are several restaurants on campus, also

4 College Junior

Transportation: The buses are convenient around campus, and there are buses all over the city. These are really the only public transportation available, but since it is a small city, it is okay

5 College Junior

Transportation: The bus network on Liberty University is free and takes you all around campus to include your dorms. If you live off campus Liberty has certain pick up locations that you can park your car and ride in to school. This service is also free of charge and runs on a set schedule.

Computers: Liberty University has 2 different floors with a ton of computers, and if you have a laptop they have WiFi through out the entire school. I have ever never had any issues connecting to the network and the speed is pretty fast. Having a personal laptop is always better, however Liberty University has plenty of computers for you to work on. They also have various printers stations on each floor that allows quick easy printing.

Facilities: There are all kinds of things available for the students to do on campus. Beach volleyball courts, a gym, snowflex (a snowboarding, skiing and tubing place), a library, a hang-out place, basketball courts, an ice skating rink, etc. There are always athletic events to go to, including football. There are also many clubs that you can get involved in, and many of the clubs do activities all of the time outside of the campus.

Nightlife: Because we have a curfew there really isn't much of a night life, at least for the people who follow rules. The only place you can really go to is the computer lab to hang out with your friends, or to apartments of friends who live off-campus. The transportation is good, however. Buses that run all the way up til 2 in the morning and go all over campus.

Facilities: My school has amazing professors and advisers that are there to assist you, and the programs are fantastic. The facilities are all clean and up to date, and the people who help to take care of it do a wonderful job. However, there are many rules that bother many of the students. We have a curfew, we aren't allowed to go into the dorms of people of the opposite sex, and we aren't allowed to watch rated R movies.

Majors: Taking courses for my program is a challenge with some rewards. work can be easy and hard. Most teachers are easy going and some teachers are stick. Work can be hard but with help if need be you can get through it successfully.

Academics: Business, Psychology, Communication, and Seminary are the most popular fields of study. The professors, curriculum, and registration process are excellent. The workload is heavy. I'm part-time with classes and full time with job.

Academics: The educational material is excellent. I don't know yet about the insternship.

Majors: I'm studying Christian counseling and the classes are fantastic. I was informed about everything in this field such as disagreements they had in the field of Statistics and much analysis in every subject.

Campus Strictness: There is a strict morality and honor for students, staff, and faculty.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: These issues are not necessarily need to be addressed, but the character of a human being in the sight of God and Man.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: I personally loved financial aid here, but I must admit I was very lucky. But if you can, take the PSAT your junior year of highschool- National Merit Scholars can get up to a full ride.

Campus Housing: I found housing to be very good, both in the actual facilities and in the social atmosphere. And there is such a variety in where you can stay, from the dorms to the quads to east campus and the annex...The only downside is how spreadout everything is- bring walking shoes.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: While drug and alcohol use does exist here, it is not aloud or tolerated so those who participate in these activities do not openly advertise it. It is very easy to just hang out with people that are not involved in stuff like this. If you do that this scene will not affect you.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: I absolutely love all of my professors. They are kind and funny and really love their jobs. Since Liberty is a Christian school, the curriculum is also Christian-based and that really adds to the pleasantness and worth of the learning experience.

Campus Dining: Although I do get tired of the food in the dining hall, food options are expanding rapidly and the quality of the food seems to be increasing every year. There are times when I really enjoy my meals. There are also food options everywhere so if you need to eat you certainly are not going to starve. My favorite meal plan is the 14 swipes a week in case that is helpful.

Campus Housing: All housing is really available to anyone no matter what year they are. One can choose from options such as the tradition hall-style dorms on main campus with community bathrooms to apartment style dorms on East with a kitchen, living room, and individual bathrooms. RA's are also usually very nice.

Campus Strictness: Liberty has found the perfect balance for students to have fun in a safe envirnoment.

Health & Safety: I have never felt unsafe on campus. The on-campus curfew is midnight during the week so there's not a whole lot of shenanigans going on late into the night.
