Health & Safety: Angels Watching Over You. Liberty has it's on police force on campus. They make sure to make rounds regularly especially during the night. They also have students sign up for a text alert system for emergencies that students need to be notified by. There can be a couple of times where if you do not lock your doors at night someone might come in a scare you as a prank. But that is all since the dorms have to be locked to get in the building then locked to get on the hall, and locked to get into your room.

Facilities: No matter where you go on campus Liberty is always rebuilding there facilities. The student center has just newly been renovated. They just built indoor volleyball facilities, lacrosse facilities, and outdoor volleyball facilities. They are in the process of building a new baseball stadium. So they are continuously rebuilding.

Weather: Lynchburg = Drench Burg – Lynchburg, where Liberty is located, is plagued with rain a lot during the school year. The good thing is most dorms are fairly close to the academic buildings. The dorms that are not close are frequently visited by the bus system on campus. When it isn't raining the weather is amazing. Most students get up early to watch the sunrise and some even watch the sunset.

Majors: I think the graphic design program at Liberty University is great. I have only been in it a year so far, but the professors are very helpful and hands-on with all the projects and push you to do your best. They have new classrooms right now which are nice, and a new art building is in the process.

Weather: Dorms Too Far – East campus is too far in bad weather don't go there

Scholarships: I found filling out information for financial aid very easy, even for online students. The school financial aid department is very easy to talk to and answer questions. They even send out your award info to your email so you can review it before full accepting anything. Refunds are taken care of quickly as well and book vouchers can be used for books in the oncampus bookstore or for online students.

Academics: Great Place to Study – I am taking classes online and I really like the fact that if I have problems I can either call or email my teacher. The registration is easy. I am a criminal justice major and I like the fact that the Bible is discussed and applied to the classwork. The U.S. Constitution is a big part of the early classes in GOVT for this major. The classes are 8 week intensives that I take but the work load is not bad.

Transportation: What Comes Around – The bus transportation is set at different time and there usually very good times according your school schedule.

Majors: Go for it!! Liberty Theological Seminary is thorough preparation for the work of ministry. The process of getting into the program is not difficult, and the most important criteria is your desire to have a closer relationship to the Lord.

Overall Experience: Online Learning – Must work hard but resources and help are easily accessible

Diversity: Praise the Lord for the opportunity to attend seminary without moving

Guys & Girls: Known to Attractive – You see attractive people everywhere coming from all over the country, from the guy with cowboy boots from texas to the guy from new york always dressing in a vest & tie. Most students have a few main interests besides studies such as weekend volunteer work for different ministries.Everyone is very friendly, specially if their from the south. As far as relationships go most couples have a great relationship based on God centered living. It's almost sickening how adorable they are sometimes.

Health & Safety: Always on the Safe Side – Campus police patrol the entire campus 24/7. RA who are out late will make sure you're back in your dorm by curfew. The security guards are constantly roaming around and checking doors and will walk you back to your dorm if asked.

5 College Sophomore

Transportation: School buses are constantly running at least every twenty minutes on campus until 2 am. If you need to be picked up after 2 am, you can call the Liberty Univertiy Police Department and they will come pick you up and escort you back to your dorm.

Overall Experience: I am so thankful for my experience at Liberty University! I transferred to Liberty from another VA school and I wouldn't change that decision for the world. I have never felt so challenged, encouraged, and involved at any other point in my life. Liberty becomes home to all those who set foot on the campus. :)

Majors: Working With You for Payment – My son wanted to do ROTC but because you have to be signed up for class before you can join the ROTC to help pay for college it was very hard on coming up with the money to pay for the class specially since we are homeless at the time and they kept saying we made to much money. We are below proverty level here in our county but we make more then 20,000 with is the US proverty level. They need to take in account on were the student is coming from before they discount everything

Drug Safety: Check in – I have not gone to campus yet so I am not sure what it is like but they have been helpful to me on trying to get signed up.

Majors: Teacher Program – I'm in the teacher education program at Liberty. For the most part it's been really good. The teachers have been awesome, with the exception of one or two. It's pretty expensive to get into the program; it's going to be at least $400!! There is a lot of work involved in some of the courses but it's worth it.

Athletics: Football Is HUGE – The football program at Liberty is a big deal on campus! We recently had a new stadium built that is one of the center points on campus. Our NCAA Div.1 team has won the Big South Conference for several years and we keep getting better.

Majors: Student Teaching – I never quite started any internships, since I transfer to Liberty and changed my major. I do plan on joining in on internships to help better myself in my flied of education later on. I do not have any concerns for finding any internship because Liberty is very good at providing internships for thier students.

Campus Housing: A Place for Everyone – Liberty offers a few different residential options. There is South Campus (the quads) where students are an extension of main campus with two floors that are connected and share a common room and kitchen. Main Campus is is the cheapest in cost. The Circle is main and is often teased, being called "trailor trash" because the dorms were the first built on campus and are not as nice as others. The Circle offers an amazing community atmosphere for brother and sister dorms to play games and interact with one another. The Hill is also main campus and is central to all attractions on campus. These Hill students are often categorized as the "sporty kids". East Campus is the most expensive housing on campus, they are apartment style living. East kids are known for being "rich kids". East has volleyball courts, a pool, theater room, and clubhouse with dining option. Finally, there is The Annex (The Inn). The Inn is off campus a few miles and has regular shuttles to drop/pick up students. The Inn is an old motel that was renovated into dorms for the university and is often overlooked my students looking at Liberty. While The Inn is far away the students that live there have a great bond. The Inn has its own baby Rot (small version of the dining hall on campus), a pool, and a volleyball net.
There is truly a place for everyone in regards to Liberty's Housing.

Off-Campus Dining: Liberty has many restaurants extremely close to the school because the majority of students do not have cars. We have a wide variety of dining options ranging for cheap student hubs to fine four star dining a few mines away. Lynburg does have the highest food tax in the nation as a downfall with almost no student discounts available. Students have a meal plan that includes "Flames Cash" which many locals dining establishments will allow students to use.
