5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Not Noticeable on Campus – There are people that drink and do drugs but for the most part that happens off campus. I have never come in contact with drugs or alcohol with anyone from Liberty. I have heard of some rare events though.

Athletics: Involved, Inspiring, but Not a Worthy – Liberty University has great athletics and does a great job of getting the students involved. However, due to the size of the school and level of athletics, the teams do not rank nationally. For the most part the teams excel in their division though. Games are fun to go to but, when compared to other larger college's, may be considered lackluster. All around great teams and games. The university just needs more time to get to that A level.

Transportation: I go to school online, so transportation isn't necessary for me.

5 College Senior

Scholarships: It went really smoothly and they did a great job talking to me about what it was I needed to complete in order to get the financial aid I needed.

4 College Senior

Academics: The professors at Liberty are always willing to help in any situation, not just for their class. Professors also pray before class starts and pray for their students on their own time.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: It is somewhat difficult to find off campus housing. When I began looking I did not know where to begin! You have to start really early because many apartment complexes are already full

Facilities: Student Activities – SA is a great facility of Liberty because their goal is for students to never be bored. Every couple weeks there is an activity planned after classes on campus and a off campus trip on the weekends. They are really in tune with what college students want to do like, white water rafting, horseback riding, and camping.

Nightlife: there are movie nights, late skates, etc, but you have to get somewhat creative with night life at liberty. Keeping in mind rules against girls in guys dorm (and vice versa) and also curfew. There is a "dollar theater," mall, frozen yogurt, and many restaurants nearby though!

3 College Junior

Diversity: Relatively Diverse – Although not everyone is ethnically diverse, per se, The background that people come from are all very diverse. There are home schoolers, public schoolers, private schoolers, private christian schoolers, missionary kids, non christians, christians, etc. There are also many different states and countries represented within the student and faculty body.

College Junior

Greek Life: I don't think that there is a Greek life at Liberty. If there is I've never come in contact with anyone that is involved.

Computers: There are certain times when all computers in the C-Lab are pretty much taken. The wireless is pretty reliable though for everything from research to music and video streaming.

Athletics: The athletics here are great and so fun to come to

Local Atmosphere: The atmosphere is great and the people are so nice

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food is good here at Liberty and there is also a good variety.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Always Something – There are an endless amount of activities and extra-curricular organizations to be involved in whether it be sports or academics. That aside there are lots of hang out spots and many chic coffee places. Liberty is THE place.

Drug Safety: No matter where you go you encounter a certain inevitability with drugs and alcohol, especially among college kids. Being said, on-campus students are, in what I consider, a 95% sober at all times condition. If you go off-campus those numbers may deflate a little, but that is largely because the rules to enforce are simply not as available as on-campus students. All in all, the drinking/smoking from Liberty Students is almost nothing.

Majors: Perfect Fit – I have chosen to pusure a Masters of Managment and Leadership. This degree was not offered anywhere else to support my financial needs and schedule. I study at night, and weekends and this program has been a great fit for me. The workload is as expected for a graduate program, but I don't feel overloaded. I think this degree will enhance my marketability in the civilian world once I leave active duty.

Overall Experience: Growth as a Person, Not Simply a Grade. I think that the courses I've taken so far have enhanced my knowledge level in my particular field, but more than that I've learned how to incorporate my faith into my education. The learning environment gives us the opportunity to explore our faith and how is can be used to make good business decisions.

Academics: Variety Enabled Me to Find the Right Fit – I am an active duty military servicemember, and this doesn't give me much time to spend in a classroom or online in a web seminar. The choices that Liberty offered me to earn a graduate degree is what made my decision easy. They helped me review my background and undergrad work and guided me toward a degree that is a great fit for what I do and what I plan to do in the future. Ask for the help, it's there.

Academics: Management and Leadership – I've been satisfied with this degree program so far. The professors seem to be genuinely concerned not just with our grades but with our growth as Christians in the business world. I appreciate the time taken to provide detailed feedback and suggestions to improve. Many new ideas have been introduced to me and I am grateful for the opportunity to study here!

Overall Experience: My major is Psychology/Christian Counseling and what Liberty does is that it gives you the worldview and also the Bible view. I love it because you see your studied from both aspects. It is also a teaching tool for me to be able to maneuver when I start counseling from the worldview to the Bible view. The professors have made it so that it is interchangeable and I love it. Helps me to think and take note.

Academics: Very Good Courses – Liberty University really have good courses and good course materials. Everything is clear and concise. Questions are answered by the Professors in a timely manner. The faculty has been very helpful and very kind in all areas. In the online environment, the workload can be very hectic but it is doable.

Scholarships: The financial aid process was smooth. I filled out my FAFSA forms and it was very simple. However, I would suggest that perspective students stay on top it. Make sure if you are taking out student loans, that it is enough and when your limit is coming close to an end.

College Senior

Nightlife: I Am an Online Student. N/A – I am sorry, but I am an online student so I am not familiar with the nightlife at Liberty.

College Senior

Campus Housing: I Do Not Live on Campus. I Am an Online Student. I am an online student, however, I did take a tour of the campus last spring, and I was very impressed. If I were a single, young student, I would most certainly live on campus, in the larger apartment type of housing. The amenities are amazing! What great opportunities to be physically, socially, and spiritually fit! I was so impressed with the entire social atmosphere at Liberty! I felt as if I were attending my church! Everyone that I came in contact with gave me such a calm and warm feeling.
